Questions:

1. Is this all video games?

2. Do you have to pay $$ to play these video games? We have the UPH from the Fairytale package.

Thanks in advance for your help.

The UPH will get you into Disney Quest. Most of the games are free. The exception are games that award tickets to be redeemed for prizes. We didn't play these games, so I don't know the cost.

The games included in admission were plenty to keep us busy (i never even saw the area with the extra charge games). There are regular arcade-style games (fun to play without having to insert quarters!), but the main attractions are the virtual-reality games. Pirates of The Carribean is amazing! It's more an interactive ride than video game. There are also several attractions in the Create Zone area that allow you to get creative with animation, designing a roller coatser, and other stuff.

With a UPH, I would recommend at least stopping by (since it's included in the pass, anyway) if you have time to spend outside of the theme parks.

There are attractions at Disney Quest unlike what you would expect to find at an arcade type place. Buzz Lightyear is a combination of a game and bumper car ride, and is hysterically funny and fun to play. Many of the VR type games would be very expensive to try someplace else, and it is fun to just wander around and play favorites from Childhood too. I think it is well worth a day to play there.

ahutton - this was our favorite too! I love that buzz game! We didn't do pirates becuase we got soooo sick (we did a number 5 roller coaster in cyberspace moutnain):( Then wse did Aladdin right after.

Anway, I am soooo excited to go back with other family members and kick their behinds on that ride!!!:p And now I am going to do Juncle Cruise and Pirates!!! WHHHOOO HOOO only 7 days to go!!!!

Haven't been yet, but can't wait to spend a couple hours at Disney Quest!!:bounce: :bounce:

This is the reason my 20 is coming back. My kids love disney quest.

We have made a day, during our vacation, available for a visit to DQ. My kids are 12, 9 and 6, are there interactive games for each age? All of my kids play and learn on the home pc so I'm not worried about them being able to handle the controls I'm more concerned about there being games or activities that wil interest them.

They will love it. We are not really into video games, but loved DQ. The Virtual games are great. We loved the Pirate ship, rafting and the roller coasters.

Iread somewhere that it is very busy in the afternoon. does any one know if this is throughout the entire year or only at peak season. was thinking of doing this the afternoon of our arrival day so the morning is out. Thanks

How busy it is in the afternoon greatly depends on the day of the week and the weather.

During school periods when the weather is really nice outside on weekdays the place is almost deserted. On weekends, especially when the weather is bad, it's crazy in there in the afternoon.

this will be a Tues afternoon so heres hoping for good weather! thanks
