Disney Quest??

Can anyone tell me if Disney quest is worth going to? We're a couple in our 20's.... would it be boring for us??

I'm 32. I was bored to tears. I've heard that some people really like it, but I thought it was just awful. The only thing worth doing was the virtual roller coaster, but after you designed it, it was about an hour's wait to ride your design. This was at a very slow time, too. I wouldn't recommend spending time there.

We loved it. If you are into arcades and that sort of "theme" you will too. We made a rollercoaster (virtual reality and you ride it) and when I watch it I still laugh at my hair flying all over the place. If you plan on going to Pleasure Island and water parks you will be better off getting the magic your way "plus" pass. It works out better all around.

I will be truning 32 on our trip but I think it depends on if you like video games or not.. There are several games you can also play together like POTC virtual game my family loves this and some kind of alien game you actually get into the cockpit of a "ship" its pretty cool and then they have air hockey, my DH and I always try and kick each others butt in this game. We always go and spend about 3 hr atleast and get a snack, there is a small cafe called wonderland cafe run by the cheesecake factory and then another food place, we have had really good nachos and cheese fries as well as good desserts here plus there is a place to sit and relax and email family or friends..

Thanks for your comments Does anyone else have a comment? I've been thinking of maybe going to a water park instead, it it's not to crowded. We did Typhoon lagoon once before and that was pretty fun but crowded.

This was one of my DD11's favorite things that we did while we were there. It was not crowed at all. We got there at opening, left to have an early dinner and go to Cirque du Soleil, and then returned to do a couple of her favorites again. We had no problem getting staight on to the roller coasters we designed - no waiting. She also made a CD and now goes around singing Hail Queen Krista . We had a great time.

My 12 year old twins love it, and DH and I (45....oh, yeah....46 now) enjoyed it our first time. We likes the jungle raft ride, the prirate virtual ship thing, the space mountain build your own coaster and the buzz lightyear cars. The rest I left to the kids, but DH managed to be entertained for awhile.

If you are a Disney Nut, I would say it is worth going once to see what is there and try out the different things. The best part is when you are done, go up to the Cheesecake factory and get some dessert!

We went to DQ when we were @ WDW for our honeymoon.... I was 28 then and had a great time, even though I had a wet blanket with me... DH isn't a gamer at all and was bored to tears... We will go again this Sept. and I have no doubt my DD and I will spend a good bit of time there.... Hubby and his DD will most likely find something else to do...

I'm 21 years old and I just went to DisneyQuest with my boyfriend. We had a great time. It isn't the most exciting place to be on Disney property but I say you should go do it while you can. I've heard it's closing for good in 2008. We really enjoyed the PotC ride, cyber space mountain and juncle cruise. The arcade games were a lot of fun too. The wait times are typically short also. We went in end of May and we weren't on line for longer than 15 mins for any ride.

My girlfriend and I are both in our twenties. We went to DisneyQuest last year. It was ok. We went because we had the magic your way plus. I wouldnt pay money to get in there. The build your own space mountain (dont remember the official name) was pretty cool. There are a few other things in there that amused us. Its not every day we can play unlimited skee ball or air hockey for free so that was kind of fun. If it came down to DisneyQuest or a water park I'd definitely go to Blizzard Beach instead.

NO, don't think video games. True, there is one floor that is almost exclusively arcade-style games, but there is so much more! There are many very cool virtual reality experiences. You can ride a white water raft through class 5 rapids, ride a magic carpet through an Arabian castle, pilot a pirate ship and shoot ghosts, ride a rollercoaster that you designed, play a pinball machine from the inside -- all virtually! My husband and I are 40 - 41 and we love it! We go every time we go to Disney, usually twice or three times. I prefer it hands down over PI. They limit the admission, so it never gets past a "maximum" capacity. True, if lots of people want to do the same thing at the same time, there will be a long wait, but we have never waited more than 10 minutes to do something. If it's crowded, do something else and come back later.

My Dh who is 31, my uncle who is over 50 and I went last year. The guys loved it! I played alot of the old arcade games. I couldn't do the virtual reality stuff, because I get motion sick from them. It really depends on whether or not you are game people.
