Hello DIS :disrocks:

Disney Quest - so much to do and see.
I am a teen and my sister is a tween.
My parents are cool :cool1: on what we can do at Disney Quest.

Where should we go first ?
:) Buzz's Astro Blaster ?
:) Virtual Jungle Cruise ?
:) Mighty Ducks Pinball Slam ?
:) Sid's Create-A-Toy ?

How is the food in Food Quest ?
Should we eat there or leave Disney Quest and eat a late lunch in DTD ?

Thank You :paw:

We haven't been to Disneyquest since 2001...I'm not even sure it's still there...but, our family had so much fun doing this virtual reality pirate ship attraction! We must have done it at least 10 times! It was great!

We also liked the Toy story attraction (Buzz?). It was alittle frustrating for my then 8 year old to do though.

My kids also loved the create your own coaster.

Like I said before, we haven't been since 2001, so I don't know if these are still the "best" things at Disneyquest. We really didn't know what to expect at DQ...I thought that we would be there for a couple of hours at the most--we spent about 5 hours there!

We ate at the food place (I think it was Cheesecake Factory Express) in DQ...it was o.k. I would probably eat before going in because once you get in there you (or the kids) won't want to stop playing in order to eat! ;)

P.S. My kids were 8 and 13 at the time when we went (2 boys)

Have fun!

Food Quest can be expensive for the portions, i beleive. For the money, I would rather go outside of DQ for an hour or two to have a full meal and spend a few extra dollars for something nice, instead of spending still quite a bit for not so much.

Slice of pizza and a small drink will run you around $6. I can eat two slices. It's run by Cheesecake Factory Express.

I'm also a teen, so I hope I can be of some help! I last went to Disney in January, so I'm assuming it's the same...
Astro Blaster was definately fun! We went there first, and had a blast. The Virtual Jungle Cruise, I didn't really like, and it really made me arms ache
The Virtual Piarte Ship thing is still there, and is definately worth the go! It's probably my favourite part of DQ.
My parents and sister love the Virtual Rollar Coaster, but I'm really not a coaster person, so I skipped that and did the "create your own song" which is fun and awesome! You can buy your song at the end, if you want, and its really cool.
I haven't had the food there, but it looked good :)
Hope I was of some help
Have fun on your trip!!!

As a parent of 2 teens, I would suggest heading to the Wonderland Café when you can establish a meeting place. Your parents can camp out in a booth with some cappucinos and a great desert while you teens take off and do whatever you like.

Definitely do the POTC first, the line gets long quickly and it moves S-L-O-W-L-Y. The jump to the Jungle Cruise, which is right next to it. And the Virtual Magic Carpet Ride is also on that floor. Buzz's AstoBlasters also has a slow-moving line, so if it's a "must do" for you (it is for our kids), then head there after finishing Magic Carpet. After that, it's pretty much whatever you feel like doing.

The food at Food Quest is expensive but not more much more than anywhere else in WDW. If you're looking for above-average fast food, that's what they serve up here. If you want a nice sitdown meal, leave DQ and seek out one of the better restaurants in DtD.

Another vote for the Virtual Rollercoaster. That thing is awesome. I'd also suggest the pirate ship ride where you fire cannons at pirate ships. That's a cool game too. Then i'd head towards the video games as the lines can sometimes get lengthy there too.
