We've never been before, but I know my 14 y.o. would love to spend some time at Disney Quest. How crowded does it get? Are there long waits for the different games? If you have a day pass, can you leave and come back?

Thanks for any info! I'm not yet Disney Quest informed.

We went to Disney Quest one day last summer. We got off the first stop at Downtown Disney without realizing that there is a second stop at (I believe) West Side. Anyway, this is the one you want. By the time we figured out how to get to DQ it was already open but not too busy. However, it did not take long for the place to get really crowded. My DS (then almost 13) enjoyed it there but I was uncomfortable with the crowd. From what I have read a lot of local people go to DQ and I believe this to be true.
Anyway, it was fun but I do suggest getting there at opening. Don't try to go on a rainy day because everyone tries to do the same. You should find more info on allearsnet.com.
I don't know about returning with something like a hand stamp. I'm sure someone here will know.

DS17 went there at 4pm on our arrival day to WDW. It wasn't too busy when he got there, lines only for a few things, he left with a handstamp to meet us for dinner, and went back until closing. After 7 he said it started to get busy again.

We have an AP pass and go often because our kids love it. However, through out the summer it will be very crowded. But then that same pricipal holds true for Disney in general - it will be crowded in summer.

But I do think your child will enjoy it much.

My sons went yesterday from 12 noon till 2:00pm while my DW and I went to Wolfgang Pucks for cocktails and snack.

They said that there was a 5-10min or so wait for most of the Virtual stuff and 15+ for space mtn. The Video games were almost all taken the entire time they were there. There was no threat of rain, and the (wait for and) bus ride from the Poly took forever!

I can't even imagine the place if it rains!

Thanks for all your info. Haven't done any research yet on Disney Quest, so I appreciate your comments!

Hi,
Our family bought a Ultimate Park Hopper pass and included was the disney quest so we figure we would try it....My boys 5, 12 and my big boy dh loved it....We even went back before we left for a second trip to DQ, that's what my boys wanted to do on there last day there....
This place is actually a cool place....My family went the week of Christmas 2003....We really didn't have to wait in line for anything other than the rides...We didn't really have a long time to wait, i think the longest was about ten minutes....The only game we had to wait for is the Pirates of the Carribean, it's a 3D game...That was my youngest son's favorite game....The wait was only i think was about five minutes...
The last day my family was there my boys and dh went to DQ....I went shopping for all the souvenirs for our relatives....
