Is this the type of place dh and I could leave our 11 & 13 year old while we go to dinner in the same area or is this totally out of the question?

Linda

I would have no problem leaving my son there. When we were there in Sept. we were spending most of our time with our 5yr. old, and so my DS(11) was left to fend for himself for 3-4 hours. He would sometimes find us by accident, but time seems to fly by for children that age. Quest is sooo large and has so much to do that I could probably leave him there by himself (with money for food) for at least 3 hours by himself.

Can anyone explain what exactly disney quest is? Is it a big arcade? Did you put money directly into the machines or do they have some sort of card system? How much money would you spend in a couple of hours there?

Let's see how much I can remember.... (we were there AlOt!!!)

There are 5 floors: 1 is Jungle Cruise
Incas Treasure (name might be off)
(all are included in Entry)

2 is Song Maker (pay for CD at counter)
Animation Acad. (pay at counter)
Living Easel (pay for pic at counter)
Magic Carpet Ride (free)

3 is Arcade (most are free) the rest you pay
for with a card that is bought at
counter
Buzz's AstroBlaster (free)
Mighty Ducks Pinball Slam (free and my
DS loved it)

4 is Sports Arcade with the Cafe (we only
went to the Cafe)

5 has Classic Arcade Games (most free)
Food Quest - fairly good eats

We were mainly in the arcade area and create area (where we made a cd and took a couple of animation classes) Any kid who enjoys games and video arcades can spend HoUrS in this place! It is unbelievable (and very loud).. I would suggest earplugs. We spent about $20 on the cd and print outs of our academy drawings. Maybe another $15 on food for the boys.. but we ended up dragging them out of there because we had a PS.

Hope this helps....

Yes, it is a big arcade. Most of the games/attractions don't cost extra. But you do have to pay admission. If you have a PAP, that is included in your ticket. If you get an Ultimate Park Hopper (LOS) ticket, it is included in your ticket. If you get a Hopper Plus, you might be able to use one of the pluses for admission (not sure though). Otherwise you have to pay the general admission of about $25-30. We always have a PAP, so we don't have to worry about the separate admission.

Michelle, We had a ps at the GF for the villians dinner we never went to because my whole family voted me down and won't leave till closing. Now I can kick myself because they no longer have this dinner but we had a great time here. We didn't spend any extra money except on food. If your family is into video games then they will be happy with just what they have to offer for free.

If memory serves me right 4 & 5 also has Ride the Comics which is a VR game that you VR fight the comic villians. I personally like this one. Level 1 has the Pirates of the Carribean Quest for the pirates gold which is a do not miss. Level 2 has Cyber Space mountian where you build and ride your own roller coaster also a not miss unless you get motion sickness.
