I've been having trouble finding information/descriptions of Disney Quest beyond what's on the official Disney site. I expect my 12- and 14-year-old boys will want to do anything having to do with electronic/arcade games or simulators, but where can I get a better idea of what is there?

I't trying to figure out how much time to allow for it in our itinerary, and get an idea of whether going more than once will be worth it.

Thanks for your help!

It is 5 floors, some games are very interactive. They have a river raft ride, Pirates(our favorite to play as a family), there is a comic book game, Magic Carpets(virtual reality), Might Ducks-it's like a life size pinball game, pretty fun. Buzz Lightyear bumper car type game. Cyber Space Mountain where you design and then ride your rollercoaster can be fun-even if you are just standing outside the "pod" watching on the camera. Then there are just arcade type games.

DH and both of my now grown DS's love it there and they wouldn't mind going more than once, if I allowed that on the schedule ;). Myself-I tolerate it for a couple of hours and then I've had enough of the noise, it is VERY LOUD in some parts. There is a cafe area that has fairly comfortable seating and once I've had enough that's where I go to wait for them.

I will mention that it is, at least to me, a fairly confusing lay out over 5 floors. It is very easy to get separated from your family-especially if everyone wants to do their own thing. Because of the noise it can be hard to hear a phone, so I would suggest a central meeting spot in case you do separate.

We always try to get there when it opens and go on a weekday to avoid crowds.

Thanks! It sounds like my guys will definitely want a good chunk of time there!

Yep, they'll really enjoy it. My daughter kept asking me, "It's all free?" in disbelief that she could just hop on the car and motorcycle rides that typically cost a dollar or more! I really liked the draw a character class - so much so that I took it twice! :)

We went when it opened on the morning of the day we were leaving. We had lunch at the cafe and left about 3:00. I felt like my boys could have spent a lot more time there.

Whenever I come here I have a BLAST!!!!! I love making my own roller coaster! But my favorite is the Astro Blasters!

I have to admit, even though DD16 and I are far from being "gamers", we tried Disney Quest last October and had a BLAST! We went mid-week at opening (around 11am) and could have spent all afternoon there. We definitely stayed longer than we had planned on and didn't do "everything".

I went online and did a little research to find out what rides & areas fill up the quickest and we hit those first. I agree with PP that the layout can be confusing. It felt like we were always trying to find the right stairs to go up/down and lost our bearings quite a bit.

I really hope we get free admission again on our next trip because it's a fun way to spend a few hours. I'm not the most coordinated mom in the world and it was great to laugh and laugh with my daughter while I attempted some of the interactive games (like the Jungle Cruise).

we are trying this out for the first time in July. The twins are so excited! They love video games and I am hoping will have a great time:)

I tried DQ for the first time in December, and being a 30 year old woman, I had a BLAST. lol The build your own coaster and the POTC virtual reality game were my fave.

Our stay in WDW will be short, ( We're actually surprising them with WDW before our cruise) but I know my boys will LOVE DQ. So, how crowded would it be on a Tuesday September evening if we go there on our arrival evening?

I doubt it will be crowded at all. Our kids (10 & 11) LOVED it there. They cannot wait to go back. Your boys are going to have a blast! :goodvibes
