Shocked that Disney's stock has rebounded and at (or near) pre-COVID share price despite having parks closed for months, one park re-closing, two parks probably be closed for a full year or more, no movies on the horizon (and even those that do get released the "old days" of big box offices are probably gone).
I wonder how Disney+ in general is doing now that the first year is over (I know I love it, but I wonder how it is doing in the general public compared to Peacock, Netflix, HBOMax,
Amazon, etc.) .I mean while I love the back catalog of Disney classics, besides the Mandalorian and the occasional documentary, it is lacking some new "adult" content that probably doesn't draw in the major streaming audiences (teens to 20s)?
So .. I wouldn't expect 'good news' today (I mean .. not much "earnings" to be had, right?) .. but yet somehow the stock price has stood firm. Hopefully that is the case.
