Need to arrange a surprise proposal at the Magic Kingdom in December. Cinderella's Table is full. All the "appropriate" settings are already full. Would someone please recommend an alternate plan? They want a lot of photos, so I am thinking the firework show is not the place..... Also tried to find a photographer, but the best suggestion I received from Disney was "Try to find a Photopass photographer who is not too busy." I was really expecting to have more warm & fuzzy feelings right now. :( I spoke to Disney Photography - they will be happy to take the photos before the park opens and for $1700. Not quite in the budget.

Any suggestions for financially challenged people who waited too long to make dining reservations?

Thank you!

Keep checking Cinderellas royal table. Also call. There are usually cancelations as it gets closer. I've seen some photo pass photographer proposals and they look really awesome too. Maybe approach them alone a little bit before and explain what's happening, so they know what to photograph.

We only have one day at MK and two days at Universal for this trip. We are going to the Christmas party. We are staying offsite in a condo.

Thank you everyone!

Definitely keep trying for a reservation especially if it's in December. You still have a chance of cancelations and photo pass photographers will help.

If you want a photo op in the Magic Kingdom, I would opt for the Cinderella Wishing Well or the bridge to Adventureland that gives a good view of the castle. There are certain outside photographers you can hire to capture the moment. Some of the well-known portrait photographers who commonly work on Disney property don't shoot in the Magic Kingdom, but I know that Chapman Photography and Bagwell Photography will.

If you don't mind photos from a novice or hobbyist, you might also be able to find a good Samaritan in the Disney community who would be willing to take a few candid photos for you. There are photography forums here and on WDW Magic where you might find some help.

Thank you all so much! I have left messages for the above photographers and am waiting to hear back.

join online December groups as people post when they are cancelling ADRs
