Disney Princesses...Yikes!

In December we went to CRT one night for dinner and the princess were great and spot on!! Went the next morning for breakfast and they were not great... We still joke about it.

I completely understand. Our trip in October 2013 went like this with one character, and it still bugs me incessantly. We had dinner at CRT, and after most of the princesses made their rounds, a CM came over and asked if we met all of them. I ran through the list, gave him a disappointed look and said, "No, we're missing Jasmine."

Well about ten minutes later Jasmine showed up with the nastiest attitude you could imagine. Looked over at my SO on the table, arched an eyebrow between him and my birthday celebration button and said something to the effect of, "Oh, you're celebrating." Very snotty, snobbish and rude, far more than any princess should be, whether 'in character' or not. She took a picture with me but honestly I felt like crying after she left. It hurt twice over when, a few minutes later, she came to the table next to us with two little girls, and was sweet as a Georgia peach. Talk about getting the short end of the stick.

I can second about the Jasmine we met at CRT last trip. She was vey very cold. All the others were awesome but Jasmine was just not in a god mood. We aren't really picky either, but we both noticed it.

hmm something seems off about Prince Charming in the Mardi Gras photo...guess it isn't just the princesses! :rotfl2:

In regards to the topic though, I actually noticed and mused to myself in the last few weeks reading through trip reports and seeing character photos that they didn't seem as *magical* as the ones I remember. But I brushed it off as the whole experience being the greater factor, not the looks. And the experience doesn't translate through the photos...have to try and look at my photos again, but of course my memories of the experience color those.

I do recall meeting Cinderella's Fairy Godmother and thinking she looked way too young, but sadly realizing she was in all likelihood "too old" to be a Princess anymore! :scared1:

Interesting albeit delicately difficult topic!

YES! Aurora has been the most consistent dud for us. Nothing wrong in the looks department, but total inability to carry on a conversation.

What's difficult about playing Aurora is that in the movie, she doesn't really have any personality....she's quite boring. So actually if you think about it, a "boring" Aurora is really the actress being "spot on!":lmao:

Thank you! I mean, don't get me wrong, Jasmine looked SPOT-ON (as did all the other Princesses that evening) but her personality was just… hurtful.

Thankfully I did CRT for breakfast this past February, and Jasmine was both very kind and spot-on with her appearance, too. Definitely made up for the snafu last time around.
