Disney Princess Lingerie

Not only would I totally wear this, but my DH would love it. Now they just need to make an Ariel version and I'll be sold.

I think pretty much everyone assumes, that when looking at lingerie, you would only be talking about yourself or someone you are attracted to/involved with wearing it. No one else felt the need to get jabs in at others though and specify that only THEIR type would look good in it. You really do seem to try to work those jabs in often and I think it rubs people the wrong way (understandably).

I mean, really, WHY did you feel that qualification was necessary to your response? :confused3

I find the saying funny so I used it.

I think people here take things way too seriously or internalize things that have nothing to do with them. I have no idea why, it seems like a miserable way to live but it is what it is.

I think they're cute, DH would too. Now I just need to find some Prince Charming wear for him. :lmao:

I think it's dumb honestly. I'm a grown woman. I have little interest in Disney Princesses(unless it pertains to my daughter... Who is a Tink fan anyway ;) ).

I don't see what is pictured as "sexy lingerie". It's just panties and a bra with a Princess theme. Still dumb IMO, but I'm not buying/wearing so I don't care.

It would definitely cross the line into creeptastic if it was something from say... Frederick's or Vickie's "Sexy" collections.

Frank,

I'm about as far from miserable as a person can get.

And that quote of yours was about women. So yes I just checked in the mirror, it has to do with me. :thumbsup2

Is there NOTHING that you say or do that could ever be wrong/or not completely understood by you or looked at from another viewpoint? Ever? Seriously?

I'm 46 years old and every day I learn things that change the way I see life and my thoughts/perspectives/judgments. But at your young age you know all? popcorn::

Most women understand that men have a body type and look to what they feel attracted to the most. AND thoroughly and openly enjoy what the are attracted to the most. :thumbsup2 And if we sat here and did percentages, for men and women - the highest, although there are all kinds of desires, would most definitely be in shape so to speak. We all got that and have no issue. (and I think Ms. Robbie is hot by the way. :rotfl2:)

No one is arguing your type, your attraction and you know that.

But privilege? Come on Frank, I was simply quoting a funny saying. I was simply quoting a funny saying people! Ha ha. Give me a break.

The funny saying isn't even funny. Well, in my opinion. :goodvibes ;)

Or well made. :goodvibes

I laughed when I saw it cause I'm a *down with the princesses* kind of girl, with a "they're everywhere!" kind of sigh (Belle can excuse herself from my rant). And now they're infiltrating lingerie. :rotfl2: Cagey little things, they are. :lmao:

Im a tink fan that bought a pair of pj's of Tink so my DD9 at the time wouldnt feel ashamed of wearing TB clothing to school since she was being teased. I love Tink.....

Now sexy L, not in my book and I dont think DH would think so either.

I agree its just a bra and a pair of panties.

It was just my opinion. I would never look down on anyone for wearing whatever they like :)

That's not true. I have judged people's clothes. Not even going to deny that. Something like character clothing on adults it's isn't on my radar.

I'm not sure why people take it so personal. There are plenty of things I wouldn't wear because they don't look right on me. No big deal.

:offtopic: I'm not trying to pile on, FireDancer, this thread is not about your comments, but I just wanted to give my thoughts. Please take the following comments in the spirit they're given. I'm hoping my post gives you some insight into why NHdisneylover and others (including myself) respond to many of your posts as we do.

NHdisneylover raises a good point, which is that whenever there is a thread that has a body image / weight / "can I rock this look" type of lean to it, even in the tiniest way (like this one) you always seem to be there to jump in and comment on how A) you only find thin women attractive / only a certain body type should wear certain things, and B) you don't know why everyone is so sensitive when you give that opinion. Of course you are entitled to your opinions, but it's the part B that rubs people the wrong way.

I don't know you, but I am going to give you the benefit of the doubt that you're a good person who doesn't set out to be rude. But to not recognize that hurt feelings or misunderstandings often happen when you make such comments is a bit obtuse. From that, I draw two conclusions: either A) your meaning and intention is lost in translation from what it sounds like in your head to what it sounds like when typed on a message board, or B) you don't care that what you say hurts people, even when you don't think it should. I'd rather assume the former.

Yes, it's a message board and people should feel free to express their opinions. I like it that we don't all agree with each other 100% of the time, that would be boring. But it just seems a bit odd to me, that after reading your posts for the last few years, you seem to have a hard time grasping why people are offended by what you say, when it happens over and over and over again.

I don't say any of this to rebuke you for giving your opinion, or to stop you from doing so, but just to give you a friendly insight into why NHdisneylover and others respond to some of your posts as we do. :thumbsup2

Why isn't arura pink?

It looks childish/teenager stuff.

Exactly.

I know it is technically categorized as lingerie, but whenever I hear that word I think sexy. Those are just bras and panties. (I'm still not interested and my husband wouldn't be either.)
