Which Disney Princess is your favourite?

OMG How cute are these!!! And what a coincidence Baby Girl has just discovered a love of lego lol Saw them in Big W yesterday and they look great...bit pricey though, but all lego seems to be (As a mummy I am new to buying lego...had it as a kid but I never paid for it myself). Thinking I'll try and wait until the midyear sales and get a couple for her birthday :goodvibes If she is over lego by then Mumma will happily play with it... :rotfl2:

Oh finally! I loved Lego as a kid, but it was all boy stuff. I might just have to go and get some of the princess stuff myself :rotfl: Or perhaps look out for it when we're in the US - it's cheaper over there :thumbsup2

My daughter has heaps of the Friends Lego and loves it. She got her first Disney Princess Lego (a small set with Ariel) for her birthday last week and it is fantastic.

When my husband (huge Lego nut) and I tell people we are planning a whole suitcase for Lego this trip they think we are joking....

Ahahaha, that is so us. My son and husband (as sometimes I wonder who we're really buying it for) now have so much lego I don't think they even remember at least half of what they own. Yet when I told DH about Hawaiian Airlines liberal baggage policy, he said "Good, now we can bring back heaps of lego. If there's one thing we don't need more of ...

The good thing is that it's a toy that ages well. DH still has his lego from when he was a kid and it looks pretty much the same today as it did back then.

We still have all of hubby's Lego from when he was a child too! When hubby bought the Lego Death Star and we have girls there really was no pretending it was for anyone other than himself;)

:rotfl: Too funny.

My DH desperately wants the Death Star! He would be so jealous of your DH. I thought that if we saw it on special in the US I might just soften enough to let him get it.

My hubby is the same! Though he has kept more than just his old lego. He recently pulled out all his old He man and Transformer toys for the kids. Except he won't let the kids play with them

:rotfl: Our hubbies are so funny.

I just shared this conversation with DH who:

A) Was very jealous of the Death Star, and very unimpressed that it took me a minute to remember what it was called.

B) Was very supportive of not letting the kids touch the old toys. He very seriously explained how Generation 1 Transformers are now fetching around $500 a piece. Duh! How silly of me not to know.

C) Confessed that he and others like him are trying to buy back their childhood.

Holy cow, really?? I better check Andre's stash out, his collection may pay for our trip to Disney!!!

Lol. My guess is that DH was talking about the as-new stuff still in it's box. Either way, I do know that there are serious collectors out there who pay all sorts of silly money for original toys. Some of the old Star Wars stuff fetches a small fortune.

I brought all the Lego Princess sets when they first came out a few weeks ago for 20% off and have them stashed in my cupboard (for me!) I will let the girls play too though :P

I have a 23 yr old who will be hoping there's some Merida Lego under the Xmas tree from Santa for her this year! If she doesn't see it (not being in the sort of place in her life where she is looking at toys) it might be a big surprise. We love building different things out of what we have (yes, its a we!) like using our HP and other misc Lego to build a pirate ship at Xmas.

I took a look at the packaging in the shops today. They look fantastic! I was really tempted by the Tangled castle set.

I figured as much :) I doubt he would let me sell his toys anyway, lol

My mum sold all my old Lego for $50. There was quite a lot, but it was all bits and pieces (including some of Dad's Lego too!). There were probably some full sets in there, but they would have been hard to extract, and no instructions or anything.

I can't believe how much some of those old toys go for, makes me regret giving away all my Barbies and My Little Ponies too :rotfl:

The princess Lego is gorgeous but too old for my nearly two niece. They do have princess Duplo though so she's getting the Ariel 'Kiss the girl' set for Easter...as long as I'm allowed to put it together for her.....
