I will be starting our Christmas shopping this week :cool1: We are also doing a layaway at Walmart yeahhh.... Anyways DD4 LOVES Ariel!! We were at TRU this weekend and her eyes were HUGE when she spotted the 18" Ariel Dolls!! She has decided she MUST have an Ariel Doll for Christmas.... Great!! but $50!? :upsidedow Then clothes are $10 & $20 a matching outfit another $50 geez we could go American Girl for these prices..... Today I was wondering around Walmart before work checking out toy prices (I know I could have been doing something more productive lol) But they had my 1st Princess Ariels for $15 she was 16" very cute!! Well I went online to check out info and on Disneys website they have the Disney Animater Collections OHHH sooo sweet and cute for $24.95!! Anyone with the 18" Princesses can they wear like Targets Our Generation Clothes or American Girl clothes? I like the clothes the 18" one has available, but did not see interchangable clothes for the 16" dolls. She wants nothing to do with the baby versions :confused3

Last year Target had a 50% off Disney princess coupon and I used to buy the 7-doll pack. I've seen pretty good prices on the dolls at Ollie's recently if you have one near you.

:goodvibes That would be a great coupon if it comes out this year! No Ollies =( We bought the Princess Barbies last year =)

The Princess & Me dolls are on sale today at Toys R Us for $39.99. They are huge at our house. DD got Cinderella last year for Christmas when she was 4, and she has played with that doll non-stop for almost 10 months now. They hold up pretty well. We have the Ariel one too, as once she got Cinderella, she wanted them all. They are actually quite a bit cheaper than American Girl dolls and their stuff, about 1/2 the price. To my knowledge, they are the only Princess dolls that have changable clothes. They are thinner than the American Girl dolls, so the AG clothes are a little big on them, but they can wear them. DD puts them in her AG doll's clothes quite a bit. The AG and other dolls can't wear the Princess clothes though. DD (a doll nut who is a spoiled only grandchild on one side), also has at least 1 of the 16 inch dolls. It is cute, but she plays much more with the Princess & Me dolls. She loves switching their clothes out. I will tell you that compared to the AG beds, the Princess and Me bed is definitely not as good a quality (it is pretty junky, the base of the bed is just cardboard- but DD still loves it)- of course it is about 1/2 the price though. If she is anything like DD, the Princess & Me 18 inch would be the one to choose.

Exactly the info I was looking for thank you =) I showed DD the toddler versions and she was not very interested, she does not like baby dolls and I think the toddler ones reminds her of baby dolls =) I did not even see the beds yet! I am going for the Princess and Me thanks! Are they only sold at TRU and QVC?

My DD5 has 4 of the Princess & Me dolls and some of the extra clothes. We got them for Christmas last year and they are by far her favorite toys. She sleeps with them every night and plays with them regularly. We love them and have nothing bad to say about them.

Glad to help! I'm pretty sure that the only places you can buy them are TRU, QVC, and every now and then I have seen them at the Disney Store or Disney Store website. Seems like the Disney Store and website had them all in stock when they were new about a year or so ago, but they don't really carry them much anymore. Sometimes you can find the bed or some of the clothes at Disneystore.com, but I haven't seen a doll on there in a while.

The whole Princess & Me line is 25% off today at TRU, but I think it is a Columbus Day sale, so today is the last day they are on sale.

Do you have to put their nightgowns on them every night like we do (for the Princess & Me and AG) at our house, and then dress them in the morning? That wears me out!! (Not to mention if I help get one dressed to hurry things up, I will get: "Oh No, Cinderella and Belle decided to switch dresses today- Cinderella is wearing the yellow. Can you please change them out? ") That is when I know we have too many dolls!

Thank goodness no, especially since I still do almost all of the doll clothes changing in the house. We have the four nightgowns, the four ballet outfits and the dresses they came in and they all must wear the same type of outfit. The original dresses are the favorite outfit for all the princesses. My daughter is in there chattering to her princesses now instead of going to sleep like she should, lol. =)

OHH Im glad DD4 can not read this  That would make her Christmas list even longer!! She was having a major breakdown before bedtime (she did not take her nap at school today :headache:) And I brought up her Christmas wish list trying to change the subject, I asked her what is it she really wants for Christmas again and her tears stopped and her eyes lite up "I want the BIG Ariel and all her pretty clothes and I want to wear Ariel clothes too"....she thought for a moment then added "Ariel might need a friend too maybe I should just tell Santa I need all the princesses" ohhh mannnn!!

Do the princesses fit other 18" doll clothes? I know they are slimmer than AG dolls and Our Generation dolls, but they seem similar to the BCF dolls in size just wondering =)

 I have had TWO 20% off Any toy coupons in the recent months on a shopping add on my phone I hope one pops up again because I didnt have anything to buy when I had them. I wanted to use it on the LeapPads but they could not be used on educational toys.

I got our princess and me dolls for 25.00 at the disney store this summer they had a online sale. I got one dd Belle and one Airel. They look to be really nice dolls. Most of the reviews are petty good also. I think TRU had them for 40.00 at one point and you get a free outfit also in that price pick up one more outft and you would have a nice gift for around 50.00.

I ened up paying 50.00 for the doll and 2 more outfits each. Ag is way more expensive dd wants Kanani's collection and I'm not sure on that one.

Kanani is the doll of the year which means she and her collection are available this year only. If you want anything from Kanani's collection, you better buy it right now if you can still get it. Some items are already sold out.

DD does her Christmas and birthday list at the same time because they are pretty close together. Kanani and her stuff is one of the items at the top of her list. I already have Kanani stuff and have it put away for her birthday. We were in Dallas last weekend and went to the American Girl store, and of course DD was looking at all the Kanani stuff. One of the salespeople quietly warned me not to let her get too hooked on it if I had not already gotten it, because alot of the stuff was already completely sold out and they could not get anymore of it.

.

$25 bucks!! Now if I could find Princess & Me dolls for that price I would not be griping lol...My old 2 girls really got into the AG dolls a few years back we celebrated 2 b-days there  Im glad they are over the AG dolls and that DD4 has never seen an AG doll (DD9s AG doll disappeared one day after my Grandpa came over and decided to clean their room  love him for the thought but we never seen that AG again, DD7 AG doll went missing after we moved) :confused3

Toys R Us just had the Princess and Me dolls for $40, plus free outfit, and all of the outfits were buy one get one free. I have three girls who all have a favorite princess, so I got each one a doll, 2 outfits, and a vanity set and tea set. I think they only thing I didn't get was the bed and the wardrobe! This was 2 weeks ago I think, but it's likely that they will be on sale again. I bought the 16" ones last year thinking they wouldn't notice and they were very disappointed!
