Disney Planning...do you do it...and stick to it?

I love planning ~ I think anticipation is almost as much fun as participation! :rotfl2:

4 of our 21 days will be spent at St Pete beach so they are not flexible; we have 10 ADRs booked for the remaining days so apart from those we can always change our plans if need be.

I also love the build up to going to WDW, its almost like when you get back you have nothing to do as you spent that last 1/2 years constantly planning your trip...I cure this feeling by booking another trip! :lmao:

i used the service that simon veness offers in his " brits guide to orlando " book, well worth the money, especially for a first timer like i was,you cannott possibly cram everything into 2 weeks, i stuck to it till near the end when i started to flag slightly and needed a day by the pool to re-cooperate !!i will be ordering one again this year, still loads to see and do,

My DH and myself are planning addicts, we drive our two DS's crazy.
Yes, from the moment we book the holiday, it is research and planning. We love this part so much.
We have such fun, yes we have a spread sheet , listing opening times for every park on every day, parade times, EMHours, dining options.
'Oh, we really do sound nuts'; and we have been known, to plan the order of each ride, until in recent years, we came to understand the ebb and flow of the parks.

And it is a standing joke, with the DS's, that I have taken the food orders from the menus I have downloaded.:lmao:

We are highly amused by visitors that have just pitched up at the parks, pick up a map once inside, spend time studying and then complain about the long queues!!!!!! :rotfl2:
