Anyone have any problems getting Disney Pins thru TSA. We bought 100 pins on EBay to take with us.

Thanks

Pins are allowed, but a large quantity of them might require "extra screening" if the x-ray of your bag looks suspect.

The last time I flew home with my super-sized pin bag in my backpack, TSA pulled it out to inspect separately. I'm sure the x-ray of my backpack looked great with a giant chunk of metal (the pins) plus all the wires and cables for my electronics!

No problems, just make sure they are easily accessible so they can take an extra look if needed. No big deal.

Sometimes an agent will ask to see them so we always pack them in a ziploc bag and put them at the top of our carryon to make it easier to pull them out. There's been no problem once they see what it is.

We always have 100-200 with us, and I know it makes TSA look closer, so I put them in a ziplock bag and plop it into the bucket all by itself (just like you do with a computer). Since we started doing this it is very rare that they even second glance it.
