Hi all,

This is not quite a report as I am just not up to that yet (totally exhausted) but here are pictures of my recent four day Disney Wonder cruise.

Short thoughts on the trip, I'm not quite sure I'm sold on a cruise but might try one again in the future. Will do a land All Inclusive again first. Trying to make scheduled dinners was definitely a pain and early dinner was a mistake as it just cut into the day too much. Also, contrary to other "adult" opinions, I feel a Disney cruise is best for families and is definitely an awesome cruise for children. While there were adult actitivies we found them to be few but this may be due to it only being four days. We would definitely approach things differently when planning on a future cruise (like having no plans.)

This was a first cruise for us four adults and two adults that were "very" concerned about seasickness took Bonomine and still felt motion that they wish they didn't. It was pretty rough the first night and the wind was so high the day we were to dock at Castaway Cay that it ended up being a Sea day and we had to dock the next day instead.

Anyway, for now enjoy some pictures we took along the way! Let me say the ship is BEAUTIFUL !!!!

Do you suggest taking something before getting on board is you get motion sickeness? If so, what do you recommend? Thanks!

Yes.

We all took Bonamine or Bonine (one American, one Canadian of same medication). We took it the night before sailing and the afternoon we set sail then every evening after that. When rougher water, some of the others took twice a day and they were fine. It is too late to take the drug when you are feeling seasick as it takes time to become effective so precaution is better.

Two of the ladies on our cruise have "exteme" motion sickness and they were fine other than feeling a little wobbly when the boat rocked so I say it worked cause we had a little rougher water than usual (not high seas or nothing). The drug seemed to have no major side effects either though we were a little tired in the evenings which we think might have been from all the activities and fresh air.
