Hey there

Had great cruise. Just sitting here at the airport now. It was a slow week I only took about 1900 pics. Be back posting pics in a couple days.

Can't wait to see your pictures Dave! Only 1900?:confused3 We leave in 3 sleeps for the World. My camera's picture file is up into the 8000s. I'm wondering if it turns back to 0000 after 9999? I will probably find out on this trip!:scared1: I've only had the thing for about a year and a half. I chalk it up to a lot of learning!

Thanks Scott. I have PSE and PS to still put back on my computer (I have no idea what versions they are) and I have the Canon software that came with my camera. I just starting to get brave enough to fiddle a bit more with the Canon Digital Professional. I really have no idea how to use any of the PS stuff. DH got me a PS for Dummies book but even that seems to be out of my league. Sometime when I have more time I would love to take a PS class they offer at the local community college. It's not for credit but more of a just learn how to use it kind of class.

My DH as an HDR app for his iphone. That really pisses me off for some reason. He thinks it's so cool and I'm just like, "yeah, I know, I've only tried explaining to you what HDR is a 100 times and now you go and get some stupid app. :snooty:"

Just curious; do you shoot in RAW or JPEG??? You can probably pull some more detail and color from RAW shots, when it comes to processing. And I wish I could help when it comes to PSE or PS. I have Lightroom myself, and that is pretty easy to use. I've also used Canon's software in the past. I actually don't find it scary at all. And after using LR, I found that it's actually lacking a lot. But hey, it's a good place to start.

I do shoot in RAW. It has saved many a shot. I'll have to look into getting Lightroom. Is it as expensive as PS?
