It looks like he is in the area that we watched Wishes from during MVMCP. That is just across the bridge to Tomorrow Land. There is a wall there that he is probably standing on. My kiddos sat on that wall to watch while DH & I stood off to the side. It was a great place to watch from. Tink flew right over our heads.
Here is a pic of the kids waiting:
Sorry I can not get the pic to show. Don't know what I am doing wrong.
No... trust me, Anna (2) was VERY ready to go back to the hotel. Actually what happened was that we had just gotten off IaSW and the park was closing. Wishes had just gotten over and they weren't letting people through the main Fantasyland exits (around the castle). So I stood there for a while and ended up going around by the teacups to get out. As I was walking by, I noticed there was no one around and it was still all lit up... So being the WDW photography geek that I am, I had to get that shot. It was just too easy.
Ya'll have inspired me to purchase a new camera before our October trip! I've already decided on which one (Panasonic DMC-FZ8 - gotta love that Leica lens!). A friend has one, and believe it or not, it's just a tad bit heavier than my Fuji POS! Go figure on that one, huh?
I totally wrecked my back years ago carrying photo equipment (once upon a time I used to be a photographer for a living!), and now can't even carry a purse on my sholder. So maybe I can rig up a hip pack for the camera and I'll be good to go!
Any suggestions for an extremely lightweight tripod? Or should I just settle for a monopod? (Or should I ask this over on the Photography board?)
