Yes you are correct, that is Soarin'. I wish it wasn't there. Well, that came out wrong. It's not that I wish it wasn't there so to speak, I just wish it wasn't in such plain view of the Canada pavilion.

I agree. It has really detracted from the skyline of World Showcase, IMO. First the Swalphin, now Soarin'.

We were fortunate enough to be at the Contemporary for a week last July and, thanks to a tip on Dis, I got up early a couple mornings, and hiked up the outside staircase of the Contemporary, set up my tripod up, if memory serves correctly, about the 8th or 9th floor landing on the staircase, and waited for the sun to come up. This pic is one of the results, and one I'm very happy with. If you ever stay at the Contemporary, it's well worth getting a little earlier wake up call.
