For those of you who have never been in the Wedding Pavilion...

Wow- is that Cinderella's Castle out the window? Seeing as I have little daughters who are crazy about Disney I better start saving for this now.

I wonder if anyone ever timed their wedding with Wishes?

For those of you who have never been in the Wedding Pavilion...

I got to take these shots during my College Program. My roomie and I went MK resort hopping and decided to walk over to the Wedding Pavilion. It was actually open, there was nothing scheduled, and we were able to walk around!

What do you know? It comes with a story, like all my pics!

We went to DL/DCA when youngest DS was exactly 52 inches with shoes on. I didn't think he'd be tall enough, but when we tried at Knott's Berry Farm first on the Xcelerator, they measured him and let him on with no problem.

When we got to DCA, at that time they had a measuring station where they used laser lights to measure and give them a wristband. He got the 52 inch wristband and we headed to Maliboomer (above). He rode it easily, both that day and on several other days (we spent 5 days at the parks). On the last day, we headed there (hadn't gotten the wristband in a couple days because we "knew" he was big enough) and they insisted he was too short. We realized that his other shoes had gotten soaked and we'd switched shoes and these were just a bit lower (both tennis shoes, just different styles). No big deal - he'd ridden it several times. Went back to the hotel in the afternoon and switched shoes. Went back there and AGAIN they insisted he was too short. Don't know if he was shrinking by the end of the day or what, but he didn't meet the line. Luckily he'd gotten to ride it and wasn't devastated or anything. Just strange.

That has actually been my dream ever since I saw Wishes way back in June '04.

And to the poster who questioned if that was Cinderella Castle right smack dab in the middle of that huge window, yes, it is. And they weren't kidding when they say it's directly in the middle. Here's a closer shot ... I took this one directly at the window with the zoom on.

And, I mentioned that I was a CP. I worked at Splash Mountain with the BEST group of CPs ever. Here's some of the crazy things we did that normally wouldn't be allowed by guests...

(Our last ride-through as a group. Notice the snorkel and swim cap on Lexi and the life vest on Courtney. We never saw a snorkel or life vest, but some Guests did put on a swim cap...)
