DD turned 10 yesterday (no more CHILD rates at DISNEY )

We celebrated her day over a week - starting with her party at 1900 Park Fare and MK with three of her friends.

Here's a photo with the girls and Mad Hatter. He is such a hoot. We had Tara's birthday at 1900 Park Fare last year too!

Here they are at the end of the day! It was a great time!

We just got back from our first trip to WDW, and my little girl had a MAGICAL time!

Okay - you all said you like the stories so here's another one - I've had bits and pieces of this in other threads but here goes:

This is out at DCA, back when even they had Millionaire. My then 10 year old LOVED the show and the possibility of being on. We did it twice during the week, and once even DH & I were in the top 10 at some point. Well, on our last day there, my son's 11th birthday, he begged to go one more time. Although we were leaving, we go there early and got FP's for the first show to make sure we got in. I think because we were so early, and because of our outfits (I wonder why? ), we got selected to be in the front (contestant - Fastest Finger) seats.

After the first contestant got on, we were all playing along. Well, believe it or not, when that contestant missed, they showed the scores and my son was #1!!!! He went up there and literally looked like he was in a daze. After asking his name and where he was from, the next question was (looking at his birthday button) how old he was. He said "10", then thought a bit and said, "No, wait, 11!" Of course everyone laughed when the host then asked "Is that your final answer?" He made it up to the 2000 point question, so got a hat and all the pins for his lanyard (and he was a big pin collector). Here he is, all excited after his big game show debut:
