OMG! My DH and I met you and David in Epcot last month! How cool is THAT??? (We are also DVC'ers and we met you guys at one of the kiosks in World Showcase)...we were joking around with you about something...now I can't think of what! It'll come to me! Man, I wish I had realized it then that it was you two. Vascubaguy and I are on many of the same threads on the DVC boards!

Ok, Chris (vascubaguy) and I have beeen racking our brains trying to remember if and when we talked to a couple in WS and we can't remember! It is driving us insane! If you remember, let us know! And it was nice meeting you (i think)! ;)

Oh yeah, A POTD:

Where was this taken from? Very cool!

Sorry about the delay METSFAN11 (and your team by the way-pulled for them). This is near the bridge by Splash.

I've been looking at the H2 as well. How does it do for night shots? I would love to have a camera that would take decent photos of the Christmas lights at the parks.

Most of the night shots I took are on my computer at work but here are a few... I'm still kind of learning with the nightshots... I think alot of it depends on technique, unless you have a camera like We-luv-disney's that can take night shots with 1600 ISO and no noise... The H2 shows noticeable noise at about 400 ISO. Maybe that's one of the difference between a DSLR and a point and shoot. I don't know I'm not an expert on this stuff... To me (noise at higher ISO speeds) this is it's only weakness, but at this price range, there's not an ultrazoom camera that does better in this category to my knowledge...

Princesses in Germany

Tinkerbellmom33, your princesses are lovely... I'm a huge Snow White fan, and I gotta say, that's the most perfect Snow White I've seen. It's funny how some fit the part so much better than others. But she really looks like what I picture in my mind what Snow White would look like if she were a human being, and not just an animated character...

Okay, Joe & WeLuvDisney....I've been following your threads and pics this whole time....instead of me trying to backtrack and find out throughout this thread, could you post a summary of what kind of camera you both use? Both of your pictures are great. That night-time castle pictures is practically flawless--it is so clear and the colors are great. Are you using a tripod for the night shots?

Thanks! Deb

I love the photos taken at dusk/night. Those have been a real struggle for me without a tripod. I'm still getting used to this camera and it's settings.

Here's one, you may or may not be able to see it in the light it was taken, depending on your monitor. I can see it fine on mine, but it's very dark on my son's (simple adjusting would fix that, but I don't dare mess with his settings!)

I agree Deb. I'd be very interested in what kind of cameras they both have. My dig camera takes great shots in daylight and artificial light, but really awful shots at night. I have tried many different things over the past 2 years since I got it and nothing seems to work for nighttime shots. I have a Kodak DX7440. It is 4 mega pixels with 4X optical zoom. Nice day shots, but crummy night capability. I love Joe's and We Luv Disney's night shots.

I love The Boardwalk photos! It will have a special place in my heart always because I got married there! :lovestruc Here's my DH & I right after we tied the knot walking with our photographer! :bride: :groom:
