Disney Picture of the day Part 3

I'm really going to miss the decorated castle!

It seems like that's the general consensus, but I won't miss them. I've got pictures... I actually can't wait until it returns to it's original form - undecorated so to speak. I don't know if this will happen though, it sounds like they are getting ready for new decorations for the "Year of a Million Dreams" promotion.

Here's one that DW is going to kill me for posting! We went in June without the kids & ate at 50's PT at MGM. She wanted Fried Chicken - but had not touched her Collared Greens. Our "cousin" proceeded to ask her why she had not tried them - then shoved a bite right in her mouth before she knew what was going on!!! It was Priceless! And I managed to grab a pic at the exact time...

This is one of my favorite family type photo at Disney. As many of you have probably figured out it is just DD and I who live in Orlando, my family is in PA & TX..... so when we have family visiting it's a special treat.

This picture was in November at EPCOT. My mom is 82, but does a pretty good job of keeping up with us all... we rented the wheelchair since we planned on doing the whole World Showcase that day, and wanted to be sure she would be able to make it.... she many times will use the chair as a walker for stability... in fact - she really hates to sit in it... so gues who gets to RIDE on those occasions!!! Yup - DD. This was at the end of a long long day...and it was not my mom that was "pooped" - it was DD! I have to admit we got some strange looks!!! With "Nana" pushing the grand kid in the wheelchair while the two able bodied middle aged (who me?) just strolled along!

Everytime we go over to the Boardwalk and I see people riding those things- I think to myself- UGH! Looks like too much work for me!

Isn't that the truth... especially the hill up to the bridge! I have walked there many times and felt like I should help push some of the folks!
