The "Trash Man's" POTD:

We took this on Interstate 10 East on the way home from our April 2006 trip. Are we the only ones who see the Hidden Mickey in this picture? Or did we still have too much 'Magic' in our systems?

Too cool, that is definitely an upside down hidden mickey. Ok, so it's not so "hidden", but I probably would have thought the same thing :thumbsup2 Trashman :rotfl:

Look below. We changed our signature to reflect how some dis'ers feel about us. :rotfl2:

:rotfl2: Some people crack me up! Where is Thumper when you need him? "If you can't say something nice, don't say nothing at all!" I love your pics from your last trip! What days will you be there on your next one? I read your countdown but I'm numerically challenged and don't feel like counting on the calendar :rotfl: My DBF and I will be there 12/1 - 12/10!

Here's my PotD:

Aww thanks! I'm definitely going to have to make it over there just for the Lion King show and the Pocahantas show. We've already done EE so we'll probably skip that this time around.

Can you let me on on what shows are your favorites other than those? :goodvibes

I love the Little Mermaid SHOW at Disney Studios! It's my fav! :cheer2: I also enjoy the Beauty & the Best show. I have seen Beauty & the Beast on Broadway, but I haven't seen The Lion King yet. I really want to see it! I'm sure it is AMAZING!

OMG!!! LOVE it!! That just sealed the deal...I'm defintely going now! I've seen Lion King on Broadway and that was an AMAZING show too. This looks like it will be such a great show, I can't wait!!

PS. How did you take the pictures? Did you use a flash or no flash? Did they discourage picture taking?

I just took the pictures using flash. It's pretty light in there. It looks darker in the photos, than it really is. There is no discouraging picture taking. I think almost everyone there had their cameras out taking photos. I didn't even think about it actually. I hope it wasn't a problem. :teeth:

These pics were taken Sunday, August 13th. It was the first day of Magical Beginnings EMH (we didn't even know that's why the park was opened early, we got there early to be there for the 9:00 opening and they let us in :)) I guess a lot of people didn't know about it because this is what it looked like.

All the Fantasyland rides posted zero wait...I wish I would have taken a pic of all of them.

Being that it was also the morning of the first day of free dining, we called this morning "the calm before the storm."

The "Pocahontas & her Forrest Friends" show at Animal Kingdom! We went all the way back to AK for our last day just to make sure we saw this show! I didn't know what to expect, but I'm sure glad we made the extra trip! I thought it was such a cute and great show! It really turned out to be one of my favs! :thumbsup2

I would also like to point out that both sprig and Grandmother willow are Puppets and not animatronics. I just feel i have to point that out evertime somebody mentions this show. So many people thing these two as well as the elephant, giraffe, Simba and Pumba from the lion king show are robots. Nope, they are all puppets.

Really!? Wow! That even made the show better! How neat! I had no idea! That's so cool to know! I love Sprig! He is a cute "new" character! :goodvibes

Can someone explain the Magical Beginnings EMH to me? Is this happening on certain dates? :confused3

I can't believe this.
This is Joe Carioca (or Jose Carioca) and, as far as I know, he hasn't been seen in the parks for the last decade or so.

If you or anyone else has other recent pictures of him, please let me know.
Was this picture taken in Mexico?

I have never seen the green army men do a thing like the picture posted a few pages back! Does that happen often?

So the rumors were right! Woo Hoo! Thanks for the photo!!! They are two cute characters (too cute too!)

I got nothing to follow that up with.... I am loving these characters. I have always like the "plush" Donald they sell with the sombrero so this really makes me smile! Glad DD chose EPCOT for our weekend excursion!

DD October 2003 - Our first Halloween at Disney! She looks like such a little girl in this pic (she was 6)! She's growing up fast! I was so excited that year to see the pumpkins with Mickey ears! (Can you tell - I'm easy to amuse?)

FotLK is one of our "Can't-Miss" attractions! Probably one of our favorites in all the parks and one that we always recommend to anyone going to AK! We've seen Lion King on Broadway & they are both great in different ways! I also think that they "encourage" taking flash pictures! There's a part at the end where they bring up a lot of children & we have tons of pictures during that! Here's one of DD4 making a giraffe sound!

Wow NikkilovesWDW....great ! No crowds ???? We were checking into OKW on this morning ! The crowds REALLY changed after this pic was taken, because for the remainder of the week, we couldn't believe how crowded it had gotten from the previous week.

From today at Epcot.

Geez, I must really be missing out. We haven't seen any of these shows! Never saw FOTLK, Little Mermaid, Pocahantas, or Beauty and the Beast! Don't know whats wrong with me! Maybe last time we just didn't schedule our days well!

IndyJammer - What a cute picture of your daughter! Very nice!

Walmart/Walgreens.... less than $10! Can you say 'Disney steal'? :goodvibes

Wow!! That is a steal! I wonder if you got it a while back, I was in Walmart not too long ago and I didn't see anything there. Very cute!

Forgive me for being a little dopey  , but when you say that Simba, Pumba, etc are puppets....do you mean as in, marrianet (sp?) puppets? Or as in character puppets? Hope you know what I mean.

Oh, and who is Sprig?
