:offtopic: NC State: is that Smithfield or Selma or somewhere inbetween? I am a native Tarheel born in Raleigh. My dad lived in Smithfield when he died so I know the area well. As a matter of fact I received my first speeding ticket just outside of Selma and went to the court there for that ticket. Fond memories! :wave2:

I'm glad there was glass between us at AK, he looked a bit hungry

WOW! Nice kitty, kitty, kitty....

Great color and clarity! Did you do 'photo shopping' on this guy or is it straight from your camera?

Sorry to ask again, but what camara do you typically shoot with?

I always enjoy your shots!!!

Awesome picture. The only tiger shot I managed to get was one of a tiger using the litter box.

Hi campinggal , thanks for the kind words. I use the Canon 20D DSLR for most of my photos but have also used the older digital rebel with great success. I do post process most of my photos, I usually add a bit of color saturation, contrast and a bit of sharpening never hurts. This past trip was the first time that the tigers at AK were close enough to get good photos. usually when we are at AK they are off hiding, I was very happy with the tigers that day :thumbsup2

Thanks W-L-D!

I just got Photoshop Elements and am eager to play around with it. Unfortunatly, our harddrive decided it was on its last legs and is now in the shop waiting to have the data transferred to our new PC. Luckily, nothing was lost- just time waiting to get it serviced!

I only just started shooting with the Nikon D70 last April. I'm having fun learning and now it is time to enter the 'post process' zone! Just wish I had more time to play with my photos- dang work and family get in the way!
