Where were you viewing Illuminations to get this angle?

We're standing in Germany...close to the border with Morroco. It's my favourite place to watch Illuminations because just before they start, you can see the fireworks from the MK and they look like they're going off next to Spaceship Earth.

What a cute picture. When/if your dd gets her first traffic violation years down the road and is feeling horrible, you should give her this picture and tell her not to feel so bad. It wasn't the first time she was in trouble with the law.

This is my DS 2nd trip, but his first that he can really interact with the characters. We, or should I say his big sis, has been talking up Disney and Mickey so much. And Mickey is all over our house. So now he finally got to meet him. Can you say "excited!"

This is such a cool photo. It's classic. I love to see kids excited over that giant mouse.

First, it's flattering to be mentioned in the same sentence as We-Luv-Disney but we're not even in the same planet when it comes to photos. His photos are just out of this world!!!

Most of my photos were taken with a Canon G5, a point and shoot digital. What you don't see are all the misfires and photos that don't turn out. A lot of experimentation to take the fireworks photos (good thing I like WDW, eh?) For the first year I had that camera, I took my manual along with me to figure out all the manual settings. You can take great photos if you leave the automatic settings behind. Experiment the next time you see the fireworks. It's a great excuse to go back night after night after night to see 'em.

I've just bought a new camera and am a bit nervous that I won't be able to figure it out and my first batch of fireworks photos will be icky. I have until August to perfect my style. hahaha Now...I wonder if I can figure out a way to justify another trip before that.
