Hi,

I wasn't sure if this if the correct place to post this but I thought I would try. I am trying to make a Disney Photomovie. The site says they will close down Nov. 19. That does not leave me too much time to compose my video. The site is working slowly and it is often difficult to upload photos. Has anyone ever done this before? When you put a picture in and there is black or checkered above and below the photo or on either side, is that how it will turn out in the video?

I tried contacting Disney by email and they said it would take up to 5 business days to answer which will take me close to the deadline. I have been spending hours doing this and I would like it to turn out nicely. Any ideas anyone?

Thanks for you help.

I spent hours last weekend trying to use the site. I could not upload my photos at all. I suspect they're having technical difficulties. If you figure it out, will you post? There is a thread going where others have used it successfully. http://www.disboards.com/showthread.php?t=1259589&referrerid=70088

I have been able to upload my photos. It is working very slowly though. Maybe that is why the are updating it. That and probably because there are others like us who would like to beat the deadline. I am just hoping it doesn't completely close down before the set date. I had difficulty previewing my movie. I would purchase it and hope for the best, but the cost is so much that I want to be sure it will look okay. Some pictures show up with black or checkered paterns on the sides or top and bottom. I try changing these photos and that doesn't seem to help. I will keep trying or maybe I will try changing the photos and putting in landscape instead of portrait. Who knows. It just takes so much time to change it and I don't even know if it will work. Anyway, good luck to you. I hope you can complete yours.

Let ME make DVD slide shows for you guys! I LOVE doing this - it's so much fun! It's like scrapbooking only a lot less mess! I had so much fun making our Disney Memories on a slide show.

I would be happy to do this for you!

The only thing to do is figure out how to get me your pics...I'll take it all from there!
