I just posted this on the Themepark site, but thought it would fit here too, not sure where to post but here goes it:

Disney Photo Movie is for a limited time only $49.95 (reg price $99.95), additional copies are $19.95 each. This is where you can upload your Disney pictures and Photopass pics and they will make it in to a DVD

I just got done ordering ours and I'm so excited to get it in the mail, this is the first time I'm ordering it.

Just wanted to share the great news, hopefully some of you will feel this tip helpful! :)

Well scrap that first post, I was told that the price of the DisneyPhotoMovie always has been $49.95, I swear I saw somewhere someone mention it was $99.95 original price.

Anyways, don't pay any attention to this post!

Hi
I'm waiting for my photomovie. It's been two weeks and I think it should be here anyday now. I think you are right, that it was first quoted at the price of $99.95. I think that was last year. I bought it the $49 price and got my DD one for 19.95. DjsMom, you can upload your pictures from your trip, which I did and then they also have pictures from the photomovie site that you can use. Also, you can use photopass pictures if you have them. :goodvibes

I am going next week with my mom and my aunt, this will make a great christmas gift! Thanks for the post!

We did the photopass after our last trip and we LOVED it!

We plan on doing one after each trip from now on.

They even put little surprises in.
It is Great!
:cheer2:

This looks SO cool! Can anyone tell me if it can be viewed on both a computer and a DVD player?

Thanks!

Yes, it can! I got one last year and watched it on my computer first with no one else around so I could surprise my family for Christmas!

Can you describe what the movie is like? It's sounds like it's involves both still pictures and movies (Disney footage). Is that right? I am thinking about buying this, but I'm wondering if I can do something like this with the software I already own.

Thank you.

How did it come out
is it as good as it looks loke on the web site

I just finished putting mine all together yesterday and ordered it. I can't wait till it gets here.

Please can you let me know what you think of it when you get it

Hi
I got my movie and we love it. My DGD watches it all the time, and so do I. They add a lot of characters to it, so it's really fun to watch. I'll definitely buy one after my trip next year. I think it's really worth the money. :thumbsup2

I haven't done this, but DS's music teacher did and it is awesome!!! She used photos from her photopass during the last trip in July and had scanned in old photos back to when her boys were like 6 years old. She had shots of the boys next to the old River Country sign, ones of them with the characters in the 70s, 80, 90s, and recent years. She even had photos of the one son's wedding at the Polynesian a few years ago and some of her husband and parents who have since passed away. It was so cool!!! I think it would make a great gift for kids who have been going to WDW for years...a through the years...that is what DS's teacher did!

Thanks :thumbsup2 Sounds like fun

I'm going to do it this time

Just thought of one more question! (me and Columbo:)

I have been getting all my pics together by park, once you start this online, do you have to finish uploading all at one time, or can you go back and finish later? (dial up, don't cha know!)

What is the last date I can do this and still hope to get it back by Christmas?

Many thanks again!

When my DS's music teacher did this, she told me that she could go back and work on it so it didn't have to be done in one setting, but I think she said she had a limit of 30 days.
