disney photo svcs HOW MANY PICS DID U GET?

I used disney photographic services and I only got 324 photos of my reception.

that seems really low to me considering there were two photographers shooting digital cameras.

So i'm just wondering if that's unusual or if that's what other disney brides have received?

I used Disney too, but didn't have a reception so your 324 sounds like a lot to me

For my intimate, I got about 75 pics. I thought that was good for about 90 minutes of activity (almost a pic a minute).

We got over a thousand but 815 ended up in our album (we booked the 6hr package), depending on how long you booked 324 does sound low

Sorry missed the reception part
it was about 500 of the reception...and 200 ceremony (its was 30min)/300 posed shots

how many did you get total?

Under 600 total is not a lot...
did you call them and ask?
I know you cant get more of your day but maybe they can do something for you.....

One idea - something may have happened to some of the pictures - like the memory card was damaged, or the shots turned out too dark and were not fixable. I've heard of this happening, and what reputable photographers do is compensate you, either with a refund or a free album or whatever.

Not to freak you out - just a possible explanation... You might want to see what they can do for you if this is the case!

disney photo services said some girls only get 400-500 for their whole wedding.

i don't know, maybe it's not the number of photos but somehow they didn't manage to capture the spirit of the reception.

luckily my boyfriend (HUSBAND!) is a photographer and did some shooting so we've got great shots off his camera.

but it just made me wonder if i should have gone with a non disney photographer after all.

i went with disney to help meet my minimum and also because i just thought it would be simpler.

I may be the minority here but I think that 324 photos is a good amount for the reception alone!! We had well over 1200 photos of our event but only 400 of our reception. It was very very well covered. It shouldn't be the amount of photos that you have but the quality that you get.

Im sorry that you are disappointed with how many pictures you got of your reception, but I really believe the number seems just right...comparing to what we received and how happy we were with the amount!

Thats nice that your husband took some pictures for you. How did that work, did he take his own camera, etc?

yea i agree here. we used disney and have 667 pictures taken total and we had 8 hours of photo. ours were split between the ceremony, reception and DP. as long as they are quality images thats what counts! if you are unhappy with quality - call them and complain

i'm glad the count seems right.

It's just my sister had 800 shots at her wedding and her guy was shooting film not digital -- so it seemed odd that my count was lower.

Also I realized it really isn't the number that's missing, it's that these photos feel more like snapshots. close ups of people looking at camera, rather than candid photojournalistic style shots. and there were hardly any wide shots taking in the location. they just kind of missed capturing the spirit of the reception (which was hilarious and fun)

luckily my DH did bring his camera and shot very cool shots.

i did LOVE the portraits my disney photog did at the ceremony though -- so maybe they are more of a portrait than a photojournalistic type shooter

i also don't mean to sound whiney. I had the best most awesome wedding EVER thanks to disney!
