Disney Pet Names

Our shih-tzu puppy is named Darby (from the new Winnie the Pooh). The choices were narrowed down to Belle and Darby, and the popular vote won.

We have a chih. named Beaker,
a huskyx named Mushu
and a huskyx named Ludo(not at all Disney related, but still cute)!

We had Minnie for 18 years. I was a very firm 4 yr old when we were getting her; Minnie for a girl, Mickey for a boy.
Only downside of the name was the tendancy to use Minnie Mouser as a nickname.

I see your DD is only 1, but if she's almost 2 (or if you just haven't updated your signature recently), she might be able to name it herself? I was barely 2 when I got my first kitten, but I named her myself, and as I got older I was very proud of that--it really added to the sense that she was MY kitten. (You could probably at least give her a couple choices and have her either tell you or point to pictures ... and then *tell* her she chose the name herself! ;) )

Sorry, my DH named 1 of my cats (Sgàthach) and my ex-boyfriend named the other (Autumn), and my dog is named Scout after the character in "To Kill a Mockingbird."

My cat is Suzie after the mouse in Cinderella...we never got around to getting a Perla :rotfl:

When my cousin was about 8 years old she named my nana's cats after the Aristocats. The mother was Duchess (Mama) and she had a litter of three kittens: Marie was a tabby, Toulouse was a female with dark, smokey fur, and Berlioz looked exactly the way he does in the movie.

We got 2 all black kittens from the same litter for DS's birthday 5 years ago and he named them Buzz and Woody. Sadly, Woody only had 1 kidney and his remaining kidney just failed about a month ago and we lost him. We all miss him terribly, but Buzz is quite lonely now. My Mom found a baby kitten on her outside basement steps this past weekend and has called to see if we want it. Still debating if it might be too soon...and not sure how Buzz might react. Odds are we will take it but DS is clear that he doesn't want to replace Woody. It's a she so I'm searching for some ideas for names to consider... DH was not fond of Tinkerbell / Tink... So far I like Tiger Lily, Belle, Dory and Princess Fiona (tho that one's not Disney). Any other suggestions out there???:confused3

I have a blue heeler with a mickey icon between his eyes, so his name is Mickey Mouse, and I have a boston terrier who i got at 3 wks old and had to bottle feed and was so small and we had other big dogs so we had to give him a strong name so his name is Hercules.

Also have 2 cats named tigger and tinker bell.

Have fun.

I have a grey cat and her name is Savvy. Captain Jack Sparrow says 'savvy' in Pirates of the Caribbean.

OMG, that's the names of our two cats also. I always said that if I had a brown or grey cat, I'd name him Meeko.

are yours the orange marmalade/tabby cats? LOL thats what ours are. although, for a cat named simba, he sure does whine a lot. some king of the jungle!

We picked up our new kitten this past weekend and had a whole list of names we were thinking of but we weren't quite 100% happy about any of them. She is a very pretty little gray Tabby so one of our choices was Tiger Lilly (thinking we'd probably end up calling her Lilly which was Walt's wife's name too). Then just before we went with that we came up with Cricket!!

My Mom rescued her from a creek & bathed her & fed the poor little thing. She said when she found her that she didn't even realize it was a CAT!!! The only give-a-way was the ears!!! She said she could count all of her ribs & her tail looked like it was a rat! The vet said she's 3 months now but she looked much smaller. We initially thought of Crickee (the "lucky bug" from the Mulan movie). So we figured she was lucky like a cricket...which is why we named her Cricket. We may also call her Crickee as a nickname!!! She is adorable. She starts purring when you just look at her or first pick her up! Our other cat, Buzz, has not quite found the same love yet tho! :sad2: Hoping he will warm up to her with time. LOL...we are calling him crotchety Uncle Buzz now!:rotfl:

We have two cats with Dis names - both girls, but my daughter was in love with The Little Mermaid movie when we got them - so it's Flounder (that one cracks everybody up) who absolutely won't eat fish, and Sebastian (and she's a crabby thing!).:rotfl:
