disney pedicure ideas for the trip

Just wondering if anyone knows of a salon around WDW that does Disneyesque designs. I've seen a ton of pics on pinterest and google, but can't seem to find any nail salons in the area that have them. TIA

I got some Mickey heads on my toes before our trip to DL and I just showed the girl some designs I found online.

I saved this link because it is a tradition that we get our nails done before our trip, but this trip is a "surprise" trip. So started looking for affordable nail salons, as the Disney ones would cost me an arm and a leg for 5 girls.

has anyone used the water decals meant for nails? ebay has a ton of Disney themed ones. here's a link to one example:

I wonder if they are hard to apply or if they last long. It would be a lot cheaper to do this at home than get a full blown pedi. Plus there would be no threat of feet blistering because of pedi.

wanting to see some pedicure ideas to show off in the parks! Anyone have some good pedi pics? anything Disney. is there anywhere in the parks/DD/resorts that do Disney Pedi's?

I'm not usually a design-on-the-toes kinda girl, but before we went last August, I got a pedi using the Opi Minnie Mouse color and had black Mickey heads put on my big toes. I absolutely couldn't believe how many people commented on it while we were at WDW! Who knew how many people are looking at your toes?!?

I read on another thread on here that the local nail places can't or won't do Disney designs because of copyright or similar issues? I don't know if that's true, but I'd highly recommend calling ahead and asking so that you avoid any disappointment.

Ok, totally hate feet pictures, but here you go! As you can tell, I did it myself to save some $$ and also to avoid the soft foot/blister thing a PP mentioned from getting professional pedicures. I just bought circle gems stickers from Michaels and then put clear nailpolish over top to hold them in place. They lasted through a week in the parks with flip flops on, through a few rainstorms, swimming and showering, etc... No problem!

I really like this sticker idea, it's really cute! I'm going to pop into Michaels some time this week and see if I can find some.
