Nice story but one that makes a good point for Disney World.
This past Wednesday a friend of mine took his family to WDW this past Wednesday. Unlike me, this person never goes but once every now and then. In other words, on rare occassions.
They went and all day Splash Mountain was in and out of working order and Space Mountain was closed down pretty much all day.
This gentleman went to Disney Guest Relations and made a complaint that upon entering the park, before purchasing tickets, they were never informed that these rides would not be working much of the day.
Now Disney cannot garauntee that rides will be working, but when they are down all day, they possibly could notify some of those people, so they could attend another park instead.
Anyways, they gave the family free one day passes (no expiration) to come back and enjoy the parks, AND gave them Express Passes to Space Mountain and Splash Mountain.
To me, that is great customer service!
