I'm sure it REALLY doesn't matter about the name, I was just curious if anyone else did it. I would imagine they cover those kinds of formalities in training and it would not be expected for purposes of the application.
I think you're probably right. I would say addressing the guest by name is more of the test there. The idea is to make the guest experience personal, so they may well prioritize that. And someone mentioned consistency; at least I didn't sign my name to either Q!
