Disney Park Tickets

Hi everyone

I'm looking at buying our Disney tickets for next year. We only need them for six days as we are also doing a cruise. I usually just buy a package with Virgin, but as we only need 6 days worth thought I could save some money!!

Has anyone bought tickets direct from Disney once you have arrived (we don't need water park option)? Is that good value or should I just get Virgins 7 day ticket? Or do any of the other ticket agencies do 6 day tickets?

Thanks for your help! I feel like a real novice as I have never booked tickets seperately before!

We got our Disney tickets from http://www.undercovertourist.com/ They were Magic Your Way tickets-base tickets,no hopping-no waterparks etc..They sell 3,4,5,6,7,8,10 day tickets but most are coming out as 7 days(as you're getting extra days free at the moment).Real tickets not vouchers,free p+p.Also sign up for http://www.mousesavers.com/ and every month in there newsletter they will send you a link to UndercoverTourist and you will be able to get a few more $$ off.x.

What price is Virgin's 7 day after discount?
Buying from a US seller a 6 day base ticket is around £133(mapleleaftickets.com), not great with exchange taking a hit. Direct from Disney approx £136. I would buy from Disney for £3 per ticket. others wouldn't.
If Virgin is close I would go with their ticket if it allows hopping, the base ticket doesn't unless you pay more.

Thats really helpful thanks! Think I will book with undercovertourist ASAP - will they send the tickets out straight away, as we don't leave until next May! Trying to catch it right before the £ falls even more!

We got ours within 10days of me ordering them.I ordered them in Aug 2007 and we don't go until Apr 2009 -i wanted to get them so as to avoid the ticket increases each year+it also meant another thing crossed off the list.x.
