I have a questions for anyone that has any of the Disney charms for Pandora bracelets. Does yours screw/twist on the bracelet?

Every other charm I have screws onto the bracelet. The Disney one just slides on. I was taking the bracelet off and the charm flew off and I thought I lost it. I wondered if this was the norm?

I got two for Christmas. the red and white polka dot glass bead. that one screws on. the mickey head charm just slides on through a loop

This is the one I got.

There are many that do not screw on you need to purchase a end clip ( round bead that clips shut over the bracelet) so they don't slide off. I lost one at security at the airport coming home from Disney because I was in a hurry to take it off and put it in their trays.

Love that bead! Get the clip so you don't lose it. They are not that expensive.

NAB and Eliza, thanks for your replies. I will look for a clip, or put a screw on one after it.

I have the same one. If you don't want to purchase a clip, just change the beads so the slide on one is second to last.

Only problem with this is the ones that do screw on can work themselves off too. I have seen that too. The beads move around on the bracelet freely.

So forgive my total ignorance, but what is Pandora? It looks like a design your own bead bracelet? I keep hearing about them and seeing commercials and realize they're super popular but don't really know why so much so than other jewelry.

It is like a charm bracelet with beads. Does get heavy like one too. :lmao: The beads can come off to make your bracelet into different seasons, like all Christmas charms then life charms, or all Disney.

There are other brands of this bracelet but this is the only one I know that has their own store.

I would add that Pandora is like the creme de la creme. Yes many places have these, even some other high end jewelry stores have their own bracelets and charms. But Pandora is the "name" that signifies the very best. The beads can start around $30 and go up, up and up from there. My bracelet is only about half full and I have at least $600 worth of charms. I started with only 3 and it slowly grew from there.

Jared typically runs a special once or twice a year, where you can get the bracelet for free, with the purchase of 3 charms, which is a pretty good deal. And that's kinda the nice part, I don't own any high end jewelry because I can't normally drop $600 at once, but you start small, then pick up a charm here and and charm there, then before you know it the bracelet is complete and it's really something special.

My bracelet is large enough that I can slip it over my hand without opening it. I prefer it that way.

Not trying to hijack the thread or anything, but Kohl's has a BUNCH of disney beads that fit on my pandora. The brand is Individuality. They are having a good sale now. I got some $100 sets for $24.99 and some single beads for $10-$15 plus I had two $10 coupons and a $5 reward.

Be warned though: it is addictive! A few years ago, my mum received one for her 50th birthday from a friend who is a jeweller. This was before they were at all popular (at least out here). She came home and offered it to me, but I said there was no way I would wear it. Fast forward a few years and we each have three! :confused3
