Disney Outlet in Riverhead, NY

Hi everyone! I live on Long Island and just found out there is a Disney outlet store in the Tanger Outlet shopping center in Riverhead. Has anyone here been and think it's worth the trip?

It's pretty far east for me, so I'd hate to waste the time if it was just the same stuff I can get at my local Disney store.

Do they have any parks stuff? That's probably what I'd be most interested in.

And what are prices like? I know "outlet" nowadays doesn't always mean what it used to!

It's ok. Not much of an outlet. It did have a bigger sale section though than say smithhaven, Broadway or Roosevelt.

it's a regular Disney store with a small Disney parks section. got a $100 sweater for $11.99 and a stitch shirt for $3.99. I wouldn't drive more than an hour for it though.

The Disney outlets really vary in what they carry. We were in TX visiting family recently and we stopped by the outlet in Round Rock and the one in Texas City. The Round Rock store had a ton of parks merchandise. It was a huge store and probably about 1/3 was Parks stuff (from DL). The Texas City store was slightly smaller and only had a tiny area of parks merchandise. I was so disappointed. It was mostly the same stuff you'd see in a Disney store.

Thanks everyone. It's about an hour drive for me, so still debating on whether or not its worth it. Wish it was at the Tanger in Deer Park as I go there occasionally. I'll have to take a look at the other stores there and see if a trip out is worth it.
