We will be going to both next June but not sure which one to go to first. We will be staying onsite at both if that helps, but just 2 nights at Hard Rock. :)

you will be spoiled with the FOTL passes that you get with your room key!!!! If you do US first, it will be hard to go back to fastpasses at Disney! :sunny:

We are headed out this Saturday and are doing disney first. I would be so disappointed after having FOTL at Universal and then waiting 60 minutes for a ride at Disney.
Enjoy your trip!

If you Zig said:
Do Universal first, save the best for last. :cloud9:
+1

I agree. Do Universal Studios first. It's more fun for the adults and less-so for the kids. Then when you go to Disney everyone can have an equal amount of fun on alot of the rides.

Hi Kitty. I would do Universal first since it is just 2 days and I still have energy in me. :teeth:

I would do Universal during the busiest time you will be in Orlando. To clarify...we do Disney the last week of August, and Universal Labor Day weekend when the crowds are higher (because of Express). Universal is also more relaxing (again because of Express), so it's nice to end the trip stress and crowd free.

We ALWAYS do both Disney and Universal on our trips. We are going again in January. I HIGHLY recommend you do Disney first. You will be absolutely spoiled by FOTL at Universal. It is a fantastic perk. If you do Universal first, you will not be happy standing in line at Disney. I know, I know, you are at Disney and it's all good -- but, trust me, do FOTL last!!!

Have fun!

Another vote for Disney first...save Universal for the end. It will be more relaxing...less rushed with FOTL...an AWESOME way to end your vacation.

It depends on which your fam is more excited about. Both are fabulous but very different experiences. Dont forget about Sea world!

We always do the 2 parks 2 day passes for universal and either 4 or 5 days at Disney. So what we do is go to Universal 1 day first then go to Disney and then our last day in Florida, we go to Universal again!

We always do Universal or SeaWorld first and then Disney the rest of the time for the same reasons as the other posters who said they like to save the best for last. Don't get me wrong, I like the other parks, but Disney is Disney after all.

Do Disney first and save Universal for last. FOTL will spoil you and you will hate waiting in the lines at Disney. Universal is so much more relaxing with FOTL and it would be a great way to end you trip!

We always do Universal after Disney because of FOTL (Front-of-the-Line for on-site guests). We like the parks equally between Disney and Universal, but we definitely would have a hard time going back to just Fastpasses if we went to Disney after enjoying the FOTL perk. We tour Universal in a totally different way. We sleep in and can get all our rides ridden in a few hours.

We leave for Florida in 14 hours!!! :Pinkbounc :bounce: :cheer2: :Pinkbounc :bounce:

Update - After further thought:

For my children Universal is a letdown.
Do whatever your children like the best, last!

Original Thought:

If you have children, I'd save Disney for last.

For children I wouldn't want it to be a letdown!

My humble opinion only.

I've done both. One trip with Disney first, one trip with Universal first. I have to say that doing Universal first is much better. When we did Disney first, getting to Universal, the people there are just not as friendly and polite as those at Disney. It took all the magic out of our trip!

When we did Universal first, we enjoyed the parks but when we got to Disney, we realized how much better it was.

Just my 2cents. Enjoy your trip! :goodvibes

We have been to both so much either way works fine BUT, it depends if we are bringing anyone and thier ages. We found the older teens LOVED US IOA rides so much better than WDW rides that we always go there last if this is the case. Us Disney die hards love WDW but many older teens are very impressed with high power coaster etc. Once they have been to bot a few times its not as big a deal since they know what to expect-we even have been doing mid week at US one day to split up the stay.

It is really hard to go from being first in every line at Universal to having to actually wait in lines at Disney. We always go to Disney first now, and wait in the lines, knowing that at the end of the trip, Universal will hold no lines for us.
