Can you buy items online and have it shipped to your resort?

My friend is heading there this year and was wondering (wish I could fit in her suitcase...lol)

Yes, you need the address of the resort and there is now a $5 package fee for holding packages before you arrive.

That sucks. We did this on a number of occasions b/c it's one way to get around the outrageous shipping fees to Canada--still better than paying the shipping/customs fees, but still!

That's what I heard a while ago. It started sometime after our trip in September.

Not sure if you are charged if you have it delivered while you are at WDW. I guess it would be worth looking into.

I bet someone would know more on the Resort Board. I think that is where I heard about the $5 fee.

Have done this a number of times. Last time, March 09, there was a $5 charge. Given the storage and handling costs I did not think this was unreasonable but if it was a small order I may have second thoughts.

I totally agree. $5 is a small price to pay for the storage and handling charges.

Yeah, it's probably still worth it, but we've done this a number of times on a number of trips, and no other hotel/chain has charged us for the service.
