Hello! I know someone posted within the past week or so regarding different shows about Disney on the Travel Channel. I recall the dates the 12th (food network), 14th and 15th. I was thinking that there were other dates too, but don't remember. Can anyone help me? Thanks!

I can't remember what they are off hand. I have them written down at home, but if you go to travelchannel.com then put disney world in the subject and then click tv listings, it will list them for you (dates and times). :goodvibes

If you go to the travel channel website and search for shows.

Type Disney and several will show up! They will even send you a reminder if you want :flower: We are taping all of them.

There is also a show about the Disney Imagineers on the Travel Channel next week. Also, the Disney Cruise. I don't remember the dates and I am at work so I can't look them up for you. I have them set up to tape on my Tivo.

March 14 4:00 - Undiscovereed WDW

March 14 5:00 - Disney Imagineers

March 15 5:00 - WDW Fan Guide

March 18 4:00 - WDW Resorts - Behind the Scenes

March 18 8:00 and 11:00 - What's New Orland 2005

And for those interested in the cruise line
March 19 3:00 DCL
March 18 9:00 DCL

I don't know if you guys realize it, but 2 of the people in the Fans Guide are posters on the DIS! :cool1:

When the show first aired, I was watching it & telling my DH, "Look! She's from the DISBoards! And her, too!". He didn't quite understand my excitement, but that's ok.

It's cool to have celebrities on the DIS! :smooth:

Which ones?? I taped it for my niece and she watches it constantly.

Me & my family -- and Erika who post here alot. Once in awhile, we also see Joslyn around here, too.

Hey there Dave Dizney! I love the show and I love your family! My husband and I are always so heartened to see your teen boys still loving Disney. It sets a good example to our 10 year old son. He loves Disney and sometimes gets made fun of for going there all the time (can you imagine) and wearing his Mickey and Goofy sweatshirts. I just tell him those nice Lloyd boys look cool and they love Disney! It made him feel better. Love your knack for planning, I am the same way!

Also, the Food Network is having a show about Disney Weddings on March 12th and 13th.

Thanks for the info! That's three more programs I didn't know about. We taped the WL program this morning and thoroughly enjoyed it. Guess I'll keep the tape handy and add to it over the next few days. Very cool.
By the way, does anyone know if Great Hotels has done episodes on GF or Poly? We'd seen the AKL show as well and wondered if any of the other deluxes had been featured.
Cheers,

Yeah, my boys went through the same thing! Somewhere between 5th and 9th grade, it becomes "uncool" to wear anything Disney. My boys were always having to defend their love for the parks, but marked their "manhood" by asking their friends if they had been on Tower or Alien. Then around high school, it became cool again to compare Disney to Cedar Point, Six Flags, and the local Valley Fair -- hands down, their friends were envious.

Tell your son to stay with what he loves -- that's why our college son still is us about when our next trip will be.

My family and I really enjoy watching the Fan's Guide to Walt Disney World! :Pinkbounc Dave Dizney, it's great to see that you are a DISer too! :cool1: You and your family did a wonderful job on the show!!! :cheer2:

It's good to see a few listing this month-
I get really bummed out when the Travel Channel goes "Disneyless"

As I sit here in 8 inches of snow in NW CT.-

THANK YOU ALL--

We all need a little Disney fix to get us through :teeth:

Wow, yet another 'celebrity' on the DIS!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :cool1:

While it is currently uncool to wear Disney clothing for my son (15), my oldest DD (13) wears her Disney proudly!!! :sunny:

We love these shows, but due to our DVC purchase :goodvibes we've shut off our cable. Does the Travel Channel ever sell copies of the shows?
