Well we got to Disney on Ice Toy Story 2 at the MEN Manchester and it was superb.

I read on here the ingenious way they did the scenes and I am in total agreement of this. The crossing the road scene with the cones and the truck was fantastic. The skaters were great to pull off some great series of memorable parts of the film even though a few tumbles were taken. Most of the scenes were followed by the word "brilliant" from myself. I like the "toys are back in town" song very much
Hopefully this works but a couple of shots from the show are below.

Off to The Polar Express 3D" at the Printworks Manchester IMAX in the morning, what a Christmas holiday.

Looks like you had a great time - I would love to see this one day.

In the program for Dis on Ice it advertises two new shows for 2005, the first a stage show "Winnie the Pooh and the Perfect Day" and the second "Disney on Ice Mickey and Minnies Magical Journey".

The Polar Express 3D was awesome in 3D, the scenes where the ticket is dropped and the steep hills are truly spectacular. If you can go and see this dont hesitate.

I have got some photos of this event as well, but how to I post them to this thread, my options say I cannot post attachments.

We went to the 27th Dec at 12pm show at the MEN Arena

Check out the thread on the Technical Support Board about posting photo's :)

You may need to upload them to the DIS Gallary and then link them from there.

Cochise : What camera are you using, as your pictures are very clear

I'll agree that the show was amazing, and the kids liked it too

Paul Brilliant Pictures :) Imagine skating with all of that on, I have trouble staying on two feet normally LOL!

Paul,

Were you in the Red VIP seats at the front or is it a powerful zoom? :-)

My wife just saying she used to know a Paul Sharrock from school and they hated each other because her maiden name was Sharrocks! :-)

Yes we were on the red seats, but they were not VIP seats just RinkSide. The photos were taken with a 4x zoom

I went to school in Stoke-on-Trent, but do not remember anyone with a surname of Sharrocks. Sharrock is not a popular surname in Stoke, but I know its more common in Lancashire, where I was originally born.
