We are going to a couple disney live shows in March. I was wondering, do the little girls usually wear princess dresses to these shows? I know DD would be in heaven if I let her dress up, but I don't want to be out of place either.

Oh absolutely YES! We've been to several and there are always lots of little girls dressed up. In fact, if you're going to the Frozen-themed one you'll probably see 80% of the girls with dresses. She won't feel out of place at all.

Thanks! Unfortunately the frozen one won't be here any time soon, but we are going to passport to adventure and disney jr. Live pirates and princess. I figure we could do ariel for the disney on ice and maybe Sophia the first for disney jr livze.

We just did Passport to Adventure 2 weeks ago :) There are enough girls in princess dresses that she won't feel out of place. I wouldn't have said there was a *ton* by us, but that could have been in part because of the below zero windchills outside ;)

We are going to Disney on Ice on Friday and my DD4 is planning her outfit. Right now it's her Elsa dress, but we will see if she switches. We did Disney Jr a month ago and saw lots of dresses there too. They have cute foam Sofia crowns with the cotton candy. My favorite was the fake Jake hair/bandana. Too bad DD picked Sofia! :)

Most shows we have gone to, there were several children dressed in costume. DD used to (12 now) wear a costume. Now she dresses in Disney clothes, but no costumes. She is 5' 8" though and hard to find something that would fit.

You will see lots of little girls in costume but IMO it's a bit chilly at the ice shows. Be sure to take a wrap or something to keep her warm. Have fun!

DD dressed as Snow White for Passport... she was NOT the only child dressed up... the gaggle of little girls on daddy shoulders, etc. walking in was a sight to behold!
