Okay, so I go with my sister-in-law and niece (2) yesterday morning to see "Disney on Ice". Before we take our seats, we are going to get some goodies. My SIL asks me to get my niece a sno-cone, while she stands in a different line to buy one of those spinning light up toys. The sno-cone comes in a souvenir cup - I choose Tinkerbell. This sno-cone cost $15 (one scoop of crushed ice and three squirts of juice). The lady then asks me if I want the $1 straw or the $2 straw!!!! Seriously, you are charging me $15 for a sno-cone and it doesn't come with a straw?
I really couldn't believe it. I bought the $1 straw because there was no way to eat the thing without it. Oh, and the light up toy was another $22.
I've been a Disney fan most of my adult life (been to WDW many, many times) so I wasn't really surprised by the prices, but I was disappointed about the straw. I just thought it was outrageous and needed to vent.
The show was cute.
