Interesting. I was there last month on a sales presentation and I haven’t heard that. I think the point needed to book there are so high which means buying there would be a huge purchase then if you sell it, they are restricted making selling it more difficult.I read on Facebook somebody posting about Disney offering matching points on a direct purchase at Riviera. Has anybody else heard this? What are the details?
If it's your first contract and you don't have a UY to match up then yes. We had a Feb UY already on our SSR points so we couldn't do the March 2020 UYSo in essence, is it actually better to purchase the Riviera for example March 1st, instead of the remaining 2 weeks of February.. and receiving another for example, 300 banked points for free?
Wow, winning a free 300 points is substantial. I guess the 'kicker' would be, the discount on the table for February would be gone. Tough decisions. (Yes, this is a first contract as well)If it's your first contract and you don't have a UY to match up then yes. We had a Feb UY already on our SSR points so we couldn't do the March 2020 UY

We bought in November for 2020 Feb points. The paperwork didn't close till after New Years because after we left we called back and added another 25 points on so we had to redo paperwork and they let us come back and sign in person over our NYE trip since my wife was always out of town for work. Our loan starts next month and our dues have yet to come outJust curious...were you allowed to buy RIV with a Feb UY prior to Feb 1st of this year since they were not offering 2019 UY points?
I read on another forum someone said they had to choose a different one.
If you did, when were you required to start dues?
