Hello:

We are on the Disney Cruise from NYC leaving Saturday, October 15th. The trip includes a one day park hopper for everyone in the stateroom when we get to Port Canaveral for our stop. Does anyone know what they actually give you as park entrance media and how unofficially transferable it is? We are annual passholders so we actually do not need the park tickets BUT we have family in Florida that we would love to give the tickets to so that they can join us for the day at the parks. Any ideas?

Thanks!!!1

Non-transferrable and non-upgradable. It is considered a "complimentary" ticket.

I was on this cruise in 2012. You are given a card to get into your cabin on the ship. It is called a "Key to the World" card. This was also what you used to get into the parks. I don't know for sure but I think it is unlikely that you would be able to transfer it to someone else. Can you have your family in Florida use your annual pass?

Annual passes are person-specific. No sharing.

Hmmm.... if the park ticket is on our stateroom card them I suspect it may be hard to transfer unofficially although they would probably not have that stateroom key tied into a bioscan of our fingers as the annual pass is on the magic bands. Not really sure. I was hoping to ask someone who got off the ship on Saturday but with last weeks departure remapped to Canada they would not have gone to Florida. Hmmm....

Also your photo is taken to match the card. Even if someone had your card, they may verify against your photo. I would not chance it.

There have been prior cruises with the WDW port stop. I don't recall hearing any reports that people were able to do anything other than use the park-hopper ticket themselves, or essentially "lose" it. Passengers with AP's have asked if it could be removed or transferred, and the answer has been "no." While it would be nice for your family extended family to use these tickets, I don't believe it's possible; I suggest you have a plan-B.

Enjoyyour cruise!

one good benefit you have is you will have double the amount of fast passes for that day. If you are staying at the same park all day just go out the gates and come in with the one you haven't use that day. 2 or more parks just use a different one for one of the parks. But you cannot give it away to another person.

We are on the cruise 10/22 1 week after. We are wondering if we will be able to stay and watch the fireworks show. But we are worried we will miss the last bus to get back to the ship before midnight. It will be crowded to I gather and everyone leaving at once will make it slow. Our first cruise

We are also planning on seeing the Wishes fireworks. It seems as though the timing is purposeful to allow for staying until the fireworks and then getting back to PC. I think even though it seems like everyone is going to stay until the last minute and try to catch the last buses, that is probably not the case. And Disney has a lot of buses at its disposal if there were a disproportionate number trying to catch the 10:30ish bus. Since we did not have to book a return time, my educated guess is that Disney has this covered
