I looked into it more and they were filming all around the WDW resort today. Epcot, MK, and a few resorts. WDWmagic reported this indeed for soarin filming. They did standstill filming and filming with the helicopter going down mainstreet etc.

Wow Sorian is going to be a GREAT ride when they update it to the new version!

Edit: I posted the same thing twice by accident so let me use this post as the news I have. OLC just came out and announced some HUGE plans for the Tokyo Disneyland Resort. For one thing the entire resort is going to see 5 BILLION yes BILLION with a B in the next ten years. DisneySea will receive a whole new port and new attractions throughout the park. Tokyo Disneyland next door will receive some major changes as well as each land will see new offerings. No details just yet but insiders are already saying that Fantasyland and Tomorrowland are slated for big upgrades and Fantasyland will see the removal of one classic dark ride. Entertainment is also slated to change for much of the resort. A big announcement is said to come Wednesday on some of the things to come.

I've been hearing next year I know it's been said sometime that Disneyland is going to get a new film next year for the 60th but I'm also hearing WDW will get the new film next year as well. Obviously nothing is confirmed but it's promising.

It would make sense that we receive an update at the same time. Disneyland "gifted" Soarin' to WDW in honor of their own 50th Anniversary, perhaps they both celebrate the 60th with an update?

Micechat is reporting several new things in a new article. Supposedly Disney executives are shelving things due to the over budget mymagic+. I would also like to report Disney themselves has said mymagic+ is not over budget. On the list of things to be shelved are the plans to add Star Wars to disney lands tomorrow land. Some of the events for the 60th anniversary are also going to be scaled back. Also supposedly Disney is cutting back avatar to only one ride that being the flying banshee ride. That would mean no boat ride. They would also have a couple dining and shopping areas. The submarines in Disneyland tomorrow land are set to sit until money and budgets are figured out.

I did some further digging on boards and such. James Cameron just last week said avatar land will have two rides so unless it happened this week I wouldn't hold your breath. Micechat usually has good informative information on Disneyland but as of late their info and rumors on WDW. Have not been good whatsoever.

Yes I check their website a couple times a week to see if anything new has come out and anything WDW related has a rumored project and then all of the sudden it's canceled due to mymagic+. This has only been over the course of the last six months. They have gotten sloppy for sure somethings do still become accurate but I don't rely on them that much anymore.

Yea they have good pictures and I do enjoy Kevin Yee but that is about the end of it.

Also new reports are saying there were some problems with CM testing yesterday and only 50 cycles were done with exclusive fantasyland CMs. Some are also saying it may not be rideable or public rider ready for the media event this weekend. Disney is playing this safe calling this a preview. No guarantees media will get to ride.

Disney has now put a limit on the number of frozen items that can be purchased in the parks. This limit means you cannot buy more than 5 of the same item. You could buy 5 Anna dolls and 6 Elsa dolls but not 6 Anna dolls.
