Height Test Balloons Spotted at Blizzard Beach

It looks like Disney could be planning on some new construction at Blizzard Beach as height test balloons were recently spotted at the park.

Operating hours extended during early December 2021 at Walt Disney World

At EPCOT, weekends have moved to a 10am opening, an increase from the originally scheduled 11am opening.


At Disney's Animal Kingdom, most days December 1 - 11 have been extended from the original 9am opening to an 8am opening.


Finally at Magic Kingdom, December 11 has been extended to a 10pm close.

As of publish time, tickets are showing as unavailable to purchase on the following dates:

• November 22
• November 23
• November 26
• December 20
• December 28
• December 29
• December 30

Disney Park Passes are also sold out for Thanksgiving Week.

Disney World Theme Parks Hit Capacity for Thanksgiving Week

According to the Disney World website, all four Walt Disney World theme parks have hit capacity for Thanksgiving Week for regular ticket holders and resort guests.

We are here now and it’s crazy busy! It’s busier than when we were here for the 50th and MK was sold out that weekend so they definitely increased park capacity.

My husband and I were gonna get ours when we go on the 3rd, the lady on the phone told us we had to go to guest relations cuz we wanna set up a monthly plan or else we could have done it over the phone. Didnt want to do the cheapest option but if thats our only option guess we'll have to settle for that, as long as those are still for sale

Awww I’m sorry you missed out. Unfortunately, the cheapest AP option, and the only one that is available right now, is for Florida residents only! ☹

I saw a photo the other day of a new menu board at the earl of sandwich. It has what was included for the dining plan. I can't see it not coming back until 2023.

That may not be the best indicator. All of the festival boards (food and wine, flower and garden,etc) all have had the DDP logos on them, including the new items, even back in 2020.

I go December 3rd but as long as the cheaper option. Is still being g sold, we'll get that one. We'll still have to pay for our tickets for the weekends though but it'll wind up still saving us money
