Destination D23 2021

Did anyone happen to get these codes while at the expo? I’m still looking for them. Unfortunately d23 members were not given the codes even though we pay for memberships. We had to be at the event to receive them. It wasn’t in the cards for me this year.
I’d appreciate anyone’s help to get the code if you do not collect cards on Topps Disney Collect App 🙏

So bizarre. I wonder why. Feeling very lucky I got mine at the beginning of October now after having to pay for 28 days total between Aug 2020 and Aug 2021 because of the fact they weren’t available.

We leave in less than 2 weeks...and thank God we bought our passes right when they restarted selling them this summer. We almost waited. We will activate on arrival but boy this still makes me mad.

Wow. I felt like I was being paranoid when I bought mine as soon as they were available since our trips weren't until April and May. I thought the "we may limit the sales thing" was just a scare tactic to get people to buy early. Makes me sad for those who can't buy one now.

Apparently annual pass sales are on hold for Disneyworld. Which stinks since I was going to buy one this week for my grandma 🙃. Just my luck for procrastinating

I'm keeping my fingers crossed they actually do open up again in January. We have a split stay coming up starting January 26th and were told it would be easier to upgrade once we were there. But now I'm bummed I didn't just get us our APs when they came out :(

On another post, someone suggested that maybe they were trying to stop people from upgrading their tickets during the holidays in order to come back and use their AP again over the 2022 holiday season? That would make sense.

But why oh why didn't I just buy them months ago 😭😭😭

I gave a question. Not sure if this is the place to ask, but here goes. Since Small World at Disneyland is closed indefinitely because of flooding, will the outside still be decorated for Christmas? Anyone know?

I have heard that the exterior is still running the projections and such, but the ride's reopening is up in the air. Apparently the damage is extensive.

It still looks as beautiful as ever on the outside. It's quite sad about what happened to the inside. All of those dolls and set pieces are piece of Disney history. I hope not too many were damaged beyond repair.

Edit to add:
The damage caused was apparently similar to the damage done to World of Color in 2018, which was closed over 9 months for repair. But many of the parts for Small World were the original parts from when the ride opened, so it may take a long time to repair. I have a niece who is going to be very disappointed during her surprise Christmas visit. :(
