Operating hours adjusted at Walt Disney World in latest calendar update including reductions at Magic Kingdom


At Magic Kingdom in November, hours on certain days have been reduced from a 9pm to an 8pm close.

At Disney's Animal Kingdom, operating hours have been extended to 8pm October 20 - 23 and 27 -30 2021.

It's nice that they didn't make everything on the menu "Impossible" based. Actually Impossible burgers are pretty good! Restaurantosaurus is still the best name for a restaurant ever!

Well, I mean, M&M-Mars incorporated their candy products into all items at the Main Street Confectionary. That's maybe not the same thing, but if Imposible is sponsoring a restaurant, I could see them wanting their product served and not their competition. I think Impossible though understands that not everybody is going to want that, though I have found that it is a good substitute for "fast food" style burgers (not so much a "real" burger though).

Disney Will Not Restrict Genie+ Sales, Will Never Sell Out


In a webinar with Travel Agents this afternoon, Disney discussed the upcoming Disney Genie suite of offerings debuting October 19. In the webinar, they noted that they will not restrict sales of the Disney Genie+ service. This service is the closest thing to “paid FastPass” that the parks will get – allowing guests to use the Lightning Lane expedited access queue at more than 40 attractions in Walt Disney World.

According to Brooke Geiger McDonald, Disney also reiterated that there will be no re-rides allowed with Disney Genie+

The no rerides makes it virtually unnecessary for AK or EP... IMO.
There are so few rides in those parks and of those few rides only a couple that truly need a FP/LL, as you have excluded the two top headliners.

Touring Plans just updated the crowd calendar for the rest of October through pre-Thanksgiving, and honestly, park guests may not need to buy Genie+. Our entire vacation (October 23rd thru November 2nd) all went down on the crowd calendar from 5's to 1 to 2's on weekdays and a 4 on weekends. I hope they are right about the crowds. I am going to pay attention to the reports that will definitely come out from places like TP and other blogs and may purchase Genie+ for one of my last days at MK on our trip if the crowds get too crazy.

I hope this is true, we go 10/29 through 11/4 don't have Touring Plans but the other sites are listed them as 7's
