Those of us who are saying the price isn't "that bad", they haven't said what the price would; say... on Christmas or Spring break. Oct 11 vs. 23rd isn't that big of a difference when you consider the holiday or typical break times...

Rise is $15 every day, same as Everest is always $7, the rest fluctuate.

Check Out Disney+ to Stream All-New Disney Parks Collection Featuring New 50th Walt Disney World Special!

Disney+ has launched a new dedicated Disney Parks Collection featuring amazing original series from “Behind the Attraction,” “Magic of Disney’s Animal Kingdom” and “Disney’s Fairy Tale Weddings to “The Mousketeers at Walt Disney World” and special episodes of “America’s Funniest Home Videos” and “Disney Insider” from the parks.

Along with favorites, the collection features “The Most Magical Story on Earth: 50 Years of Walt Disney World” which takes viewers on a fascinating journey of the Walt Disney World Resort that even includes a special look into the future.

Next trip to WDW will probably be our last trip in a long time (we want to experience the other parks and Aulani in the future) so I downgraded our stay to a value and will use the money saved on the resort to pay for Genie+ and IA$. I was budgeting 20$ per IA$ so I'm pleasantly surprised by the pricing.

That's not true.

do we know that that won't change? I am looking for the original article but can't find it...

Per Disney's website
Prices will vary by date, attraction and park. For example, the Lightning Lane entrance to Remy's Ratatouille Adventure will be $9 per person on October 19 and $11 per person on October 23. As another example, on both those dates, Lightning Lane entrance to Expedition Everest – Legend of the Forbidden Mountain will be $7 per person, while Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance will be $15 per person. Throughout the year, prices may be lower on some days and higher on other days. This option may be purchased at up to 2 different attractions each day.
The prices they listed were for the two example dates of 10/19 and 10/23.

Yeah, thanks for that.

It doesn't say that those other rides won't fluctuate, it just won't fluctuate between those two days. It could very well be that on Christmas Remy's is 15, EE is 10, and RotR is 18. Or More...

Picking those days feel like a fake sense of price security hahaha

It does show a price difference between a week day and a weekend day but of course no example of a holiday.

It's not an urban myth. They tell you in the Keys to the Kingdom tour that it's supposed to represent sewage being thrown from the windows during that time period.

that part is true. it is absolutely supposed to represent sewage. :) but the imagineers mistakenly believed that throwing human sewage out into the street was a thing back in the day. it wasn't ever a real thing, so that part is the myth. at most there might have been some horse poo in the street but cities and towns had guys paid to collect it up on a regular basis.

Did I mention it’s Friday?!

I've been rewatching the Nanny on HBOmax, hilarious.

On our flight down for our latest trip we overheard someone saying they were going to give their grandkids a ROTR LL for Christmas...just an angle I hadn't thought of, gifting rides (my daughter will be gifted a standby wait).
That’s just so sad. 😔

Well, to be fair at least they are cheaper than people were expecting. Some thought Rise would be as high as 25 bucks! I mean, I still hate this aspect of the system, but it's not as bad as it could have been I guess.

Is it possible that it could be $25 during peak--- ?

I'm not sure which part is sad (someone having to gift a ride or my daughter riding standby) but don't feel sad for my daughter....she's spoiled lol.
Ha, no! Someone having to gift a ride. That’s the part that makes me sad. Riding a ride in a theme park you have already paid a lot for should not be an additional fee that is equal to a Christmas present!

Genie plus and the per ride fees ..no thanks. The regular Tix cost enough for our family of 4 and we've been there often enough that if we miss a ride oh well, maybe next time. Really not happy with the direction Disney is heading...
