They don't want to stop people day guests from seeing fireworks 3 nights a week. Especially for the 50th. I would expect something like Boo Bash for Christmas as well.

They have said its the reason they don't do overlays at WDW is due to a lot of first time guests that go to WDW.

Yup, all these things. They're banking on the seasonal events to keep folks coming until they bring back AP sales there. It's pretty telling that their new CA resident ticket sale ends 9/30. They know if they offer all the usual Halloween/Xmas stuff people will come for sure despite no APs.

On a side note, if you've never done a DL xmas- you should! All the holiday celebration things with no extra cost plus amazing overlays on it's a small world and Haunted Mansion.

HS just updated the paper park maps and unfortunately Fantasmic is totally out of the picture. Wonder how long until it returns. Really miss that show!

It's been off the print map for some time now. Still, not great news for the show, it would seem

Then why Is DCA getting their normal halloween party this year? So number 2 isn't the reason and probably same with number 1 (maybe only a little number 1), so there is another reason.

Disneyland’s parties are usually much smaller and less elaborate than WDW ones. I think it’s easier to do and way fewer nights.

Is this the same list that was posted like a week ago? People were saying then that S&D an SoG being left off were oversights.

Well, S & D and SoG still aren't listed on the website as included. If it actually was an oversight, you'd think they would have corrected it by now.

Seeing as S & D now has to use charter busses for theme park transportation and no longer has direct access to MK (has to drop off at TTC), it appears there has been some change to any agreement Disney and Marriott had in the past.

But leaving off Shades of Green just plain stinks. I really, really hope that gets added in the future!

I agree SoG should be included. But it seems Disney and Marriott are having issues. Maybe increased competition for meetings/conventions with Swan Reserve opening soon? Just a guess, I have no information!
