We just had two conflicting answers to how Genie+ works at DL. Does it have the same limit as WDW of one ride per day per attraction or not?

Operates under the same limit as WDW:

“You can make one selection at a time, after park entry on the day of your visit (attractions are subject to limited availability; limit one Lightning Lane selection per attraction per day).”

Thank you, that's what I thought. Just wondered if I had it wrong. As someone who would rather ride GOTG:MB and Haunted Mansion multiple times in a day, G+ is not the MaxPass replacement of my choosing. I used it only twice during a 12 day WDW trip recently. It just wasn't what I wanted for my touring style. Bummer!

Disneyland Issuing Refunds, Suspending Sales After Disastrous Genie+ Debut

In an attempt to save the day for guests who were able to purchase Disney Genie+, Cast Members in the parks have been allowing guests with a purchase confirmation to simply walk onto rides – no need to make a return time because the app is not working.

Disney issued the following statement about the rollout of Genie+ (via Scott Gustin):

We are working hard to resolve some technology challenges that have impacted some of our guests today and are providing recovery options to those guests. We have paused sales for Lightning Lane options (Disney Genie+/a la carte) for the remainder of the day.

Bob Iger shares farewell letter to Cast and Employees of The Walt Disney Company

My Fellow Employees and Cast Members,

As my time at The Walt Disney Company comes to a close, I write to thank all of you for what has been a thrilling and immensely gratifying 47½ years. I would love to be able to do this in person, but the global pandemic has deprived me of that opportunity, so please forgive the less than personal nature of this farewell.

The Springtime Surprise races went on sale at 2pm EST today, and the Expedition Everest 5K showed as sold out within 20 minutes of going live.

The Expedition Everest 5K is a runner-favorite due to the hybrid race/scavenger hunt style of the event. The Springtime Surprise Challenge also sold out within the first 30 minutes.
So glad I was able to get registered for the challenge before it sold out

As far as I can tell, it went live 10+ minutes early. Between that and my internet crashing as the clock struck 2, I am a little bitter to have it sold out (and they leave you in queue regardless, so you wait a long time only to find out it sold out). I'm sure it will be epic, it was exciting to hear it coming back even for only the one year.

You could enter the queue 10-15 minutes before 2pm eastern, but registrations didn’t actually start until the scheduled time. And people who clicked before 2 didn’t actually get in earlier—I had one window that I clicked at about 1:50, and another that I clicked right at 2, and the one from right at 2 finished queueing first, after about 17 minutes.
